Where is the best place to go have a few drinks in the evening? Going to have an adult night, and was thinking of maybe House of Blue in DTD. Do they have a bar, or is it just a restaurant? Any other ideas on a place to go for a few drinks?

I like to drink a few while walking through the countries in Epcot. I used to make fun of all of those fathers who were drinking beer at Disney until I tried one!

If you're looking for a quiet place we like the Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge. They also have an awesome cheddar cheese dip w/bread cubes, fresh apples, nuts, etc. However, if you're looking for somewhere that's louder and a lot of fun....try going to the River Roost Lounge at Port Orleans Riverside to sing-along with one of Disney's best castmembers, Bob Jackson. Bob plays piano at the River Roost most Wed thru Sat evenings...usually starting about 8/8:30 p.m....until about 9:30/10:00 you might find some families with kids there, but, usually by 10 it's mostly adults. It's a great time for all...Bob really gets his audience involved. We've been stopping by at least once every trip for the past 10 years or so.

Everywhere at Disney except for the MK is a good place to have a few. While you can now get beer at MK at BOG, it still is not a real comfortable drinking experience. Here are my favorites

Parks- Epcot is the best park to grab a beer or drink casually. From the Tequilla cave (the ditch) in Mexico to the street tap's in Canada and the UK, there are plenty of places to enjoy. And with Illuminations, it is a perfect night Animal Kingdom and Disney Studios both have ample oppurtunity to partake of libations as well.

Hotels- From Territory Lounge to Mizner's to top of the world lounge to Tamboo, there are plenty of lounges. And then there are the restaurants like Cali Grill and Victoria and Alberts.

Nightlife- From Downtown Disney with everything from Raglan Road and the hole in the wall bar, to the Boardwalk and ESPN club.

There really is a place for everything and every kind of drink.

Me, I like the ditch, Rose and Crown and Territory lounge. I also have liked to sitting at Trout pass and Mardy Groggs by the pools having a nice evening. pirate:

As previously posted, there are so many different options for enjoying a drink in the evening.

If you are going to choose a park, I would enjoy a stroll around the World Showcase and try different drinks around the world.

If you are set on going to DTD, you can always try a few different places. The weather is still nice enough to sit outside and enjoy a drink while "people watching". You could always start out at HOB and then move your way down to Bongos, Paradiso 37 and grab a drink at Raglan Road.

Possibilities are endless, it just depends on what kind of atmosphere you are looking for.

Make sure you try the tequila flight in Mexico's La Cava de Tequila bar. 4 shots of tequila on a platter.

Any of the resorts will have a bar and almost all sit down resturants have one for waiting on a table. Try a monorail tour of resorts (CR, Poly, and GF) or a walking tour of resorts around the Boardwalk (BW, BC, YC, Swan, and Dolphin).

offsite - any of the miller ale houses, with plenty of choices on tap

Mexico's La Cava de Tequila bar. If you have a smartphone and Twitter, follow them on there, show it to them and get $5 off. ;-)

I never made fun of any fathers walking around, but I also would recommend a few drinks while strolling through WS! I grabbed a beer in America, and was ready for another by the time I made it to the African outpost. Prices are not bad for what you're getting, either.

We dropped into Raglan Road in DTD after checking into our hotel on our recent trip. Big mistake... It was Saturday night and the place was jammed and noisy (live entertainment, including Irish dancers.). It was a 45 minute wait for a table for dinner and there was absolutely no place to sit in the bar while waiting.

That said, I liked the place, but I don't think I'll ever go there late on a Saturday night again.

We stayed at the Beach Club and there is a nice, quiet little bar there called Martha's Vineyard. Very nice place and not crowded.

Portobello at DTD has a nice wrap around bar with some great bartenders and a good selection. They also have hard cider which thankfully is getting easier to find at Disney.

River Roost is a great place for a few drinks and has a pretty good pub grub menu. And PP is right. Yee Haw Bob is a great show.

I would recommend Jelly Rolls on the Boardwalk. There is a cover charge to enter the bar but it is definitely worth it! If you decide to go there, make sure to go early and get a table. By the time Illuminations ends, the bar is normally packed.

If you are looking for a bar in one of the parks I would recommend the Rose and Crown in Epcot.

We really enjoyed Raglan Road when we were there. Good selection of taps and a GREAT whiskey menu according to my husband who knows about those things more than me. We did not enjoy Paradiso 37 when we wandered in there. Just...no.

Jelly Rolls is fun dualing piano bar. Raglan Road is a must of us every year for at least a few drinks if not a meal. We had a good time at the bar at the Tambu Lounge at the polonesian. Though really with the crew of 3 families I usually travel with we always have a good time at any bar.

It was briefly mentioned above but Hole in the Wall bar outside of Raglan Road has happy hour every day from 3-6!

Lots of great suggestions here. One place that I really love for drinks is Belle Vue Lounge at The Boardwalk Inn. Great atmosphere, great service, and a balcony to sit on and people watch.

I know about Margarita Mondays from their Twitter & FB page but did not know you could receive $5 off any other day! That would have come in handy as we are there every time we make a trip from S FL. :)

My friend & I both enjoy RR as well for the huge tap selection & outdoor seating. The last time we stopped by there in October, there was a good Irish folk band performing outside. :thumbsup2

I agree with others that WS is a great way to relax & have a few beers from different countries. I like to get one of the mix brews on the menu at Rose & Crown to go or lately I've been set on getting a black velvet (1/2 cider, 1/2 Guinness) b/c it's delicious. It's nice to catch the comedy troupe performing in the street there or enjoy it as you're walking along the water. There are a couple of benches to the right of the Fish & Chips stand down by the water if you can grab an empty space there.

At the Studios, Anaheim Produce has become my go-to spot for a good beer. They have seasonal selections here & organic selections as well but their menu does seem to change every so often. This is also a nice spot to grab a seat at the outside tables going toward TOT or catch the street performers.

AK has beer stands w/a few selections & a lot of nice places to wonder off & explore the park w/a beer in hand. Dawa bar in Africa has a nice selection of beer but I am always swayed to get the African Margarita which in my opinion is one of the best margaritas on property.

Recently, I really enjoyed having a beer at Territory Lounge. We got one to go to explore the resort & sat down at a table outside by the lagoon. It was really cool to see the geyser go off.

Cheers. :drinking1
