Never had issues with AT&T in the parks, and we go a lot. I don't even bother with the in park wifi, its always so slow. I have noticed the wifi is much improved at the resorts over the last few years, but in the park I just use AT&T service.

It's not the phone carrier, it's how the overall network is behaving that day.

I'm on the phone a lot for work, with two major carriers. I've taken quite a few awkward work calls looking at the castle. Some days I have no issues, some days I can't get either to work.

Even if the phone itself works, data can be a struggle in the parks, as everyone knows. I don't even attempt Disney wifi anymore. Even the wifi at "deluxe" resorts has failed me on Zoom and I've had to use phone data. If Disney expects us to depend on Genie all day, I hope they have a plan to fix this.

Same. I've turned off my wifi and gone straight cellular on more than one occasion. Especially back in the days when I used to do day of flight check in.

We have Mint, which uses the T-mobile network, and didn't have any issues with it on our trip the first week of August. We even got boarding groups for RoR every time we tried. We stayed offsite in the Flamingo Crossings area and had no issues with it there, either. We'd always had ATT prior to this changeover last winter, and service is very comparable, IMO.

I have the latest iPhone, mid range size memory, was staying at SSR in the Paddock with a T-mobile dead zone. Had to use Disney WiFi to get a BG.
Also had zero service at MCO, and weak service various other places around WDW.
Is anyone getting consistently good service at WDW (and environs)?

I had Sprint forever and my memory is that it was just ok at best. I've had Verizon for a bit now and it is noticeably better. FWIW, I'd say the same is true in most places I go - Verizon seems to have better service than Sprint.

I didn't vote because I don't know which is best. But I have Spectrum Mobile and it worked fine in the parks and at the resort. Spectrum uses Verizon towers.

So are you voting for Verizon, then?
I’m also looking for a good deal on >50 gigs/month data usage.
At 50 gig per month any of the MVNO companies will throttle you. 50gig might even get you throttled with a direct contract. Check some of the geek forums for advice.

Unlimited rarely literally means unlimited

I use cricket owneby at&t. Works well but I have 10 g of data and rarely use 2 gih

Ya, I’m not even a gamer. :confused3 Just watch a lot of YouTube Disney videos and let DS6 use kids apps while I’m doing important stuff.
To which geek forums are you referring?

I have not been anywhere in the world where Verizon has not worked. We have unlimited and I’ve never gotten close.
