I'm taking my 7 yr old daughter to WDW for the first time this coming Wednesday (2/23). We'll be there for 4 full days and plan to hit one park a day (no hopping). Weather reports seem to show that it might rain on two of the days we are there. Anyone have any suggestions on which parks we should do on the rainy days? My original plan was to do

Thu- MGM
Fri - Epcot
Sat - MK
Sun -AK

but it might rain on Fri and Sat. I don't know why, but MK seemed like a park I would want to do on a sunny day. Then again, it might be less crowded on a rainy day.

Any suggestions?

Kelric,

I noticed this myself. I'm comming in on the 25th and noticed that rain might be around for a day or so.

I have a friend who says to go to MK when it's raining, she says everyone else goes back to the room and there is no wait time.

We go to water parks...truthfully, your're going to be wet anyway. Strangely, no one does this and the parks are empty.

I know I wouldn't go to MGM, we were there in a terrential downpour last June and we walked around forever hoping for it to stop raining, they closed down almost all of the attractions and then Fantasmic was cancelled it was a wasted evening for us.
AK is mostly outdoors so I would have to say Epcot would be your best bet or MK.

The only attractions/rides that close are outdoors, and even then, it has to be raining pretty hard for them to close all of them.

That being said, I think that Epcot and MK are the best in the rain.

On our recent trip this past December, we were leaving on a friday. AFter checking out of the hotel, we decided to do MK one more day. It was raining off and on, and well, the park was almost EMPTY! It was great. There were hardly any wait times at all. We went on Splash Mountain three times in a row! Just walked right on!

The only about Epcot on a rainy day is that they close Test Track.

I like MGM on a rainy day because most of the attractions are indoors. MK would be much less crowded and everything is pretty close together. Epcot's World Showcase isn't bad because they have the pavillions, but you wouldn't have all of the street entertainers.
