Best Park Bag for my Wife

We have a DD1 and DD4 and will be traveling to WDW in a few weeks. Past trips found me wearing a backpack the entire trip. Not bad at all, plenty of room, but DW was thinking maybe she'd like a bag of her own to pack all the various "things" in. She's partial to a single strap, messenger style carried bag. Anyone have any tips on a must have, best ever bag for her? I'm sure you can imagine all the crap we tote to the parks, so I am sure someone has found a perfect, indispensable brand and model! Thanks!

My daughter got an adorable large tote bag with Cinderella and pearsl/sequins on it, so I brought that as our main bag on our last trip. My youngest was still in diapers at that time, too so I had wipes and lotions with me. Honestly, it was a pain in the rear, the stuff I needed was always falling to the bottom of the bag, and I was unable to grab camera and other necessities in a hurry. :sad2:

I would suggest a lightweight lighter colored fabric backpack, or at least something with multiple pockets to keep things seperate and a zipper to keep the contents in the bag. That way, you can keep a cell phone in one side, tix in another, camera in another, etc. You will always know where things are! Have a great trip! :)

I carry a bagglini. I can fit multiple gallon size ziplocks in it - change of clothes for DS, diapers and wipes, sunscreen, snacks, etc. It is still small enough that it's not a bother when I'm also carry DS in the lines. Plus, it has a small section on the strap across my chest that is perfect for the tickets - so I can easily access them for Fastpasses, park entry, etc.

I love my Travelon bag...it holds so much more than you think it will! I kept all the items I wanted to be able to get out quickly in it such as camera, tix, money, bandaids, hair clips, tissues, sunglasses, sunblock stick, lip balm, etc. They we kept other stuff in a small messenger/diaper bag that we had on our stroller. I could move it around easily from my hip to front and wear it on all the rides wothout it getting in the way!

Would anyone mind posting a picture of their Baggallini bag? There are sooooooooo many and I'm not sure which is the 'right' one. Thanks!!

I third the use of a baggallini! :thumbsup2

I don't have a picture, but mine is the MES160 messenger, in Ripstop Nylon. I actually just used it the first time last week, and it was great! Big enough to hold a couple of rain ponchos, all my credit cards, and assorted other stuff. But not heavy or cumbersome at all.

I was a dedicated fanny pack user, but having the baggallini was much nicer. I don't think I will ever go back to using my fanny pack.

I really like my Timberland monostrap bag and I use it all the time at home too. Because it is a monostrap, you can sling it across your back, then pull it around to the front when you get on a ride. It is plenty big to back a few diapers and some essentials.

I just got a Baggalini since it was so highly recommended here and tested it out this weekend and love it! It's the messenger style.

It has so sections and compartments that it holds a lot w/out being bulky. I really wanted something to bring with me without bringing a huge bag or diaper bag and that was easily accesible. I have a 4 and 2 year old. So we'll see how it works out in a couple of weeks in Disney!

I really like the Disney World tote bag that you can buy in the parks/resorts. There's always some sort of deal to get it....spend $50 get it free, or something like that. It is very wide and you can fit lots of things in it. I like it better than a messanger bag or any sort of shoulder bag. It is easier for security to search through when entering a park and easier to root around through. It fits by your feet when you are on rides and it's easier to keep out of pictures.

At the advice of most of you, I had my DW check out the baggalini messenger. Then, lo and behold, she found one at Marshall's yesterday for $16! Not her first choice of color, but hey, for that price...

Plus, my mother was with her and bought one plus some other Baggalini for our trip as well!
