Best Offsite Hotel for "Free" Breakfast?

We stayed at Ayres Inn Orange a couple of years ago and it was fantastic. The breakfast was really good, waffles, french toast and a few different hot items each morning. The ART shuttle to the front door and the rooms were nice and comfortable. It isn't one I see mentioned here that often, but I think it's an excellent hotel, def worth checking out!

I've been enjoying the podcast reviews of the Good Neighbor hotels. I do find myself laughing especially when we're five plus minutes into the podcast and we're still on the parking lot. Very thorough. Now that the possibly used washcloth makes me want to carry a bottle of spray bleach when we visit.

It's been a few years but the Desert Palm had a warm breakfast that we really enjoyed. Pancakes/sausage/eggs etc.

We were going to go down in January February but decided to wait for the 60th seeinga s this will more than likely be a once in a lifetime trip to DL . I am so glad that this thread has gotten so many wonderful replies!

Tom, I love the podcast and have listened to most of the relevant reviews but they all sound so close really. We are now heading down at the end of August and still have not selected a resort! HELP lol, we want to stay close and no longer mind haveing to pay for breakfast, but disers I love your opiions so keep them coming!
