My son will be 9 on Friday and wants a MP3 player. I havea IPOD video that I love, but will NOT spend that much. I don't even plan to spend $150 which is what the Nano costs.

I want to stay $100 or less, but the Shuffle doesn't show what song is playing, which I would like for the one I buy to do.

I'm not picky about the name brand, but I do want one that is easy to use. With the Ipod, I just plug it into the computer and the songs just load onto the player. If I can find one that easy to use, that'll be great.

Thanks everyone!

Staples supposedly has Creative Zen Muvo tx FM 512 MB for sale tomorrow at 79 minus a $20 mail in rebate.

DS13 very happy with his.

Thanks for your reply.

I've read some reviews, but honestly don't even know what some of them are talking about. I just want to take what I download from iTunes and put it onto the MP3 with little effort.

I'll check out the Creative one. Thanks again!

I suggest getting an IPOD Shuffle, it will be easy to use with Itunes and the 512 can be bought for $70.00. It is very durable and no screen to scratch.

I would go with the Shuffle or the Nano, if you want to use iTunes. Mine is a Dell DJ, and that definitly won't work with iTunes. Apple wants all the money to go to them. So only iTunes, Napster, and I think something else works on iPods. BUT, iTunes only works on like 3 players. It works on iPods, and I think one or two others. So, if you want to use iTunes, I would suggest staying with a form of the iPod.
