Just trying to get my game plan set here, and I was wondering where you think the best spot to watch WISHES is. We'll get there a bit early to get a comfortable (bench/chair) spot, if it's possible. I'll be 6 months pregnant, so if it's possible to get a nicer spot with seating, we'll do it.

Wondering what everyone has done in the past.

Thanks for any/all help!

I think this is one of the better places for both Spectromagic and Wishes. But so do alot of other people so you have to get there early to get a seat!!!

Also you can get a head-start on the mass-exodus!!! :teeth:

I would say get there really early and sit outside of Casey's at a table. If you get a good table, you have a clear view (try for against the rail). But no matter where at that spot, you have a great view. They DO put the umbrellas down for you, so no worries.
Depending on when you go, if you plan on seeing Spectromagic, find out when it's happening. If it's at 9pm, be around BTMRR by 9:15. As you head towards Adventureland, there is a brown solid wooden fence. There should be ropes up, but their may not be yet. These fence doors are where Spectromagic enters, so it's the end of it. By that time, a lot of people will have cleared out of the park and you'll be able to take your time and stroll out of the park.
AND TAKE YOUR TIME! We were told by a number of cast members that even through rides shut down, stores and resturants close, Disney will not actually kick you out of the park. Odd I know, but that's what we were told... so does that mean that I really could sleep in the castle?!?! :cool1:

Just a thought. We were there last week with my mom who rented a scooter. We sat right on the curb in the circle on Main Street (outside of train station). She sat in the scooter and was very comfortable. Be sure to get your spot early, we had a great view of parade and Wishes!!

My Favorite Spot is in the hub in front of the castle. There are benches to sit on and you have a wonderful view of Wishes.

How early do you have to get to the train station? It sounds awesome. How many flights of stairs is it? I am with a little girl in a wheelchair and I just want to know how difficult it will be to carry her up there-

We've watched from in front of the Crystal Palace a couple of times. It had a pretty good view and benches. I was six months pregnant when we went in Nov. 2003. It was nice to be able to sit down and relax after a day of running around in the parks.

There is a ramp at the train station for wheelchairs and scooters to use to get on and off the train. That is the one you will take to get to the "porch" area of the train station to watch Wishes.
Last year we got to the train station about 2 hours before Wishes started and had a bench right in front. It was the best place I had ever sat. I did get a nice seat once around the hub on the cement bench but I felt it was too close to the castle to really see the entire show. The Train station is the best.
Bring a book with you and if you go with others have someone go over to Casey's and get some hot dogs and soda. Popcorn is great too. Peggie
