Best Months for 7mo Avail at BWV?

We own at VCG and AKL, and we have only stayed there, but next month we were able to get a 7mo available 2BR at BWV. We're very excited!

So, we got one in the middle of June, and it really wasn't hard....we called the first day, early in the morning, and got a garden view, I think (not the cheaper points rooms and not BWV).

So, if we don't care about the view, how hard is it, in general, to get 7 mo at BWV? (not including Christmas or F&W).

What months seem to be the easiest?

We go to DL every year, so we love our VCG points (I love that resort!). And, when we go to WDW every other year or so, we really like a few days at AKL. But, I have 2 sons with wheelchairs, and the buses have become so difficult....so we're exciting about walking to both DHS and Epcot.

We currently have PLENTY of points for what we use, especially if I thought we could usually get a 7mo window at BWV.

I don't know about Christmas, but F&W will be very difficult to get at 7 months.

Since you already stated that view doesn't matter and you don't plan on trying for Christmas or F&W, you will have success more often than not.

The only time we did not get BWV (and this is including staying there 3 times for F&W - 100% success rate so I wouldn't say it's "impossible") wsa when we were searching for anything as we did a last minute trip (2 months out).

FOr pool/garden view you almost always will be able to get something at BWV at 7 months (these rooms are about 60% of the resort). It is standard view and BW view that are tough to get.

Last week I booked 8 nights in a standard view 1 BR at the BWV for Christmas. (Dec. 19-27) I also got a 1 BR standard view for 5 nights last month, booked in January (about 3 months out). Lastly, we have 6 nights booked at Kidani in early August, and as of right now BWV is available for all 6 nights in a 1 BR pool/garden view. But, we're keeping Kidani. So, my experience so far has been that it isn't too hard to book BWV outside of the home resort window.

1 bedrooms are always the easiest to book at all resorts, I think.

One bedrooms are always easier and the easiest time is when the weather is either very hot or very cold.
