We're really excited for Halloween, Food & Wine, and my birthday is 11/1 so it'll be a lot of fun things in one trip! We are staying at one new resort and eating at almost all new restaurants.

Wow, that sounds amazing.

Which resort did you choose?

I voted September. Our best WDW trip was in 2016 when we did Halloween Horror Nights plus 3 days Universal with hoppers. Then, 5 days at WDW with hoppers.

Doing that allowed us to do Universal on the weekend, where we didn't mind the crowds and still got on everything. Then 5 days WDW during the weekdays during F&W was amazing. Crowds were low. We rode almost every ride at each park.

Only drawback is that it was HOT the first two days of the trip, but pleasurable the rest of the time.

We are really excited! We are doing pop for 3 nights (which isn’t new) and beach club for 4 nights (we’ve never stayed there!)

Awesome! We're doing Beach Club for the first time this summer. Could only swing it for 2 nights, but I'm soooo excited!

I voted for December. DW and I made many early December vacation trips to WDW. We enjoyed the holiday decorations and the break from the northern temperatures. For many years this was a relatively quiet time to visit.

After those many December visits we started trying different months. I think the only month we haven't been is July. Each had a unique trait. The only trait that we don't really appreciate is the summer heat.

And we still enjoy Disney in December. And November, January, February, March, and April. We now snowbird near Disney. There wasn't a category to vote for that...

wow, i didn't expect my vote to be in one of the lowest percentages haha; i voted august! my family and i love going in august. despite the crazy heat, we love going to wdw then because of the low crowds and the usual discounts. something about waiting all summer to go to disney gives us a craze.

Great thread, mousehouse23!

Sorry, nothing to contribute as I will be making my first trip this June but you guys are helping with my future planning. Keep the responses going!

February. Usually when we go around that time we get lucky with low crowd levels. I also don't really like doing parks when it's extremely hot out, so I like the chillier months in Florida. This year the ride waits were a bit longer, but the reasoning behind that is because the parks are running the rides at less capacity recently. Oh well.

I'd vote June but since you have it paired with July I can't. IMO, these two are very different.
We don't like July because of the 4th of July crowds, the tour group crowds and we usually have family things going on that make this not a good time for us. Early June is my favorite because it's hot enough for pools and water parks, school is out for me and my kids (I'm a school counselor) and hours are later in the evenings (at least they used to be). Summer nights are my favorite time to be at WDW.

That said, we've gone over Thanksgiving break the last couple trips because logistically it's worked better for us.

I would say it's between late Jan for the weather and crowd levels and Sept for MNSSHP and Food and Wine. To be fair, those are the only two months I've been as an adult lol

We prefer October/Nov. Weather is typically great, plus you get Halloween & F&W.
Crowds were totally manageable first week of December too. Christmas is up, that's always so lovely.
