Best Month for Cruise

We have sailed in May for the last 3 of our 4 cruises and we just love it. The weather has always been beautiful, not too hot yet. We just pull the kids out of school for the week and enjoy.

I am sailing with my finacee on the MArch 7 4 night Wonder...

I'm curious as to weather as well...

disneyfan551: In 2002 we went May 18-25, in 2003 we went May 10-17. Yeah, I thought it was too hot and humid, and it made me wonder why anyone goes in the summer months! One thing to note, however, is that I live in Las Vegas, so I'm not used to the humidity. It does get really hot here in the summer, but humidity is a whole different ball game! It was in the 90's when we were there (not hot for Vegas, by any means, but it was very humid in Florida). I guess the worst thing for me is that my hair looked hideous every day, all limp and shriveled up! :D

We pull our kids out of school too. There is no problem with the teachers and they always catch up easily on their homework.

I was also living in north las vegas last may 31 when we left for our eastern cruise. We thought the weather was great. But, I guess everyone has there own opinion of bad humidity. We're sailing again in may 2005 we enjoyed the weather so much.

RweThereyet, not on Disney Cruises, but we've been on 5 Carribean Cruises during March Spring break and it's a great time to cruise. My spring break comes around March 19th. We've been to beaches on St. Thomas, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, Cozumel, St. John's, Grand Caymaan and more in March, and they've been perfect. Twice however, the ship couldn't get to the private island's cruise line, and that's been a disappointment for us. Already the temps at the Mexican ruins have been in the 100's in March, and so we never went to see them. In December, we went on our first December cruise, and the waters were choppy, the days were cloudy and windy, but the temps in Tulum were in the 70's and perfect for what we wanted.

I teach, so I can't go in May, but that sounds lovely too.

We've cruised in January (a little chilly), 3 times in May (perfect weather) and December (cool weather).

We prefer May. Great prices, and great weather. Unfortunately, we have to take our children out od school, but it is usually the last week of classes and they don't miss much if we plan ahead.

We did our second cruise in March, 2003 over spring break. What a difference from our first cruise. The ship was packed! You could really feel itin the kids programs. My kids loved them on our first cruise and did not want to go on the second cruise... way to crowded. My husband tried to take the kids to a movie and there were no seats. We ahte to rush on vacation and I was getting to the shows early and standing in line to get good seats. Not very relaxing.

We have holds on a 7 day cruise of 2004 in October and on the December 28th cruise. I would prefer the December cruise but I am worried about the crowds.

Did anyone cruise on NYE this year. How was the crowd.
