Best Moderate for 2 adults

DH and i are hoping to visit again in September. We have been lucky enough to get good rates with room only codes over the years, but this doesn't seem to be the case this year. I have read about the various codes people are receiving, but we stay in the UK and i believe that the same offers do not apply.
So, i don't think we can justify a stay at our favourite WL this year without a code - where do you suggest we try in the Moderate resorts.

I would suggest the POFQ, its a nice compact resort and the themeing is beautiful.

Depending on what your looking for, I recommend CSR because it offers a spa, fitness center, and 4 lounges (featuring the new Rix Lounge with live entertainment). Check out my CSR website below for pics and info.

I like POR Riverside the best. The grounds are beautiful and I like the theming better than at the French Quarter...

POFQ is the smallest and most 'romantic' of the Moderates, with POR a very nice second - but it's a lot larger! The boat ride to DTD (especially in the evening) is very nice. CSR is a conference hotel, so the facilities there (especially the food court, which is closer to being a buffet restaurant) can be a little more oriented towards adult visitors - but I'd still pick the Port Orleans resorts by choice.

Another vote for CSR! A very romantic resort with lots of amenities above and beyond the other mods.

French Quarter is very nice but I am torn between that one and Coronado springs. Coronado Springs out in the Ranchos section is like being in the resort by yourself. We stayed there three times now and I really don't think we saw any neighbors at all.

Another vote for CSR! By far my favorite! It is quite romantic and peaceful. The buses here are among the best of any resort.

Also, even though it is a convention hotel, I never had any problems because of that. In fact, since the convention attendees are normally in the convention rooms, it actually makes for a much more peaceful resort.

Ditto on the CSR. We will be staying there for the 7th time in September for our 25th wedding anniversary. Although a very large resort and somewhat spread out, my DH and I love taking a walk around the resort every night around 10:30 or so when it is peaceful and quiet and the lights reflecting off the lake. Be sure to check out Buzz's website for all the info you could need on the CSR.

least favorite is CBR.....too crowded!!!

Simple solution - split your stay.

I love Coronado Springs! Last year, we stayed next to the quiet pool, so we were able to swim whenever we wanted. We did also notice that it was mostly convention people, there were mostly adults, with the exception of the food court. I dont know if it was the section we were in, or what, but we will def stay there again! So beautiful at night!
