Best Meal at Sea World?

We go to Sea World almost every trip and used to love to eat our lunch at the pizza/Counter Service place that is now the Voyager's Smokehouse. In your opinion, what would be the best place for lunch? I'm not expecting spectacular food, more of a nice environment (especially indoors!). Thanks for any suggestions! :goodvibes

A lot of people really like Sharks Underwater Grill for the atmosphere too. It's the only sit down restaurant at Seaworld and thus be a little more pricey. As far as service, it seems to be hit or miss. Some really rave about it; I know I haven't had the best service from there, they seem to be really slow.

I too am interested to hear if anyone has experienced decent CS food recently at SW.

It has been that bad during our last couple of visits that I am seriously considering taking our own Sandwiches etc, if I wasnt put off with the idea of having to carry them around for the morning.:confused3

Surely SW realise they need to buck their ideas up in this area, there is so much negativity on the boards they must receive complaints daily

I've never had a bad meal at SW at The Terrace Cafe...which is the old Hospitality Center. I always get the roast beef sandwich with potato salad. It's excellent!

I don't think they have that anymore; it's now been transformed into a buffet for that whole building. Which is sad, because they did have the best turkey and roast beef sandwich's there!

Yes. I ve just checked the SW website and no mention of the Terrace Cafe :sad1:

Just when I thought I might have found somewhere decent to eat at last.

I miss the Hospitality Center. It was such a quiet, peaceful area :sad2:. I loved getting a soda and just relaxing at a table by the water (I'm not a big alcohol drinker).

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!!

Unfortunately, eating before we go in is not really an option as we're getting there about 9:30 and staying until 3:30-4 p.m. I just wish there were more pictures of the insides of these places... I expect the food to be ho-hum as I live about 15-20 minutes from Busch Gardens Williamsburg and the food is pretty much the same (save for a couple of places). Eating in my family is an experience, not just a means to an end . So if we can't have great food, we at least want a decent atmosphere! ;)

Where did you get food that was bad at SW? I have never gotten a meal I didn't like there. Are there other SW boards where people are complaining? Haven't noticed a lot on here.

We choose Voyagers most of the time and get the 3 meat platter. The BBQ chicken was so good last time my husband is still talking about it to friends when we do BBQ chicken at home. The fajitas are good at Mango Joes and the salads and sandwiches at Spice Mill are excellent as well as the ones at what used to be the Hospitality House.....don't remember the new name this morning. What I like about SW is the variety of CS you can get. No need to eat burgers and hot dogs. Even just getting just the sides or desserts is yummy. The one place we avoid is the pizza place now. The pizza was good when it was made in Voyagers but now is just so blah....

Actually the Hospitality house is still there as a restaurant now.. Just checked the site for the name because we still call it the Hospitality House at our house. The real name is the Sea Garden Cafe and they still have the great sandwiches that you can eat at the tables by the water.

I guess we aren't as picky about our food because we sometimes just go to SW to have a meal and leave because we think it is that good.
