Best Margarita in WDW?

You have no idea. It will also be mine again in 16 days! :cool1:

But I also do want to try thenew Maelstrom Marg as well! :santa:

Malstrom Margarita? Details please?

Looks like we will be there at the same time!:santa: 14 days to go!!!!! :woohoo:

As a fellow margarita and tequila lover.....I second this. I always make it a point to stop in Mexico and have dinner at San Angel Inn with a margarita...I usually hit up the tequila bar before or after as well! One of my favorite adult parts of my trip hehe :cloud9:

The mix them fresh then?

Sounds delicious! We are staying at BLT so I will for sure try one. Thanks!

We camped out up there to catch the Hallowishes fireworks one night. If you haven't already done that before, it was a great view. We got there about an hour and a half before fireworks and were still able to get one of the high-tops along the windows aimed at MK, so I had time to slowly enjoy a couple of these, along with my wife's Monorail Yellow and some snacks. It never really seemed to get too ridiculously crowded, much to my surprise, although the tables did appear to fill up, at least right up to fireworks time. Enjoyed the Habanero and the Monorail so much that we went back up there a couple of nights later for a pre-dinner beverage.

Can't believe nobody mentioned the blood orange from La Cava. So good.

Not sure that Maelstrom thing sounds so good.....

Many of us are sad to see the Maelstrom attraction in Norway go. In honor of the beloved ride, there is a new Maelstrom Margarita at La Cava del Tequila.

The Maelstrom Margarita is made with premium Ambhar Tequila blanco, mango puree, orange liquor and agave nector, and served with blueberries, habanero peppers, basil and rimmed with Tajin chili powder. We have yet to try this new margarita as La Cava del Tequila just announced this new drink on Monday. We’ll be sure to try it on our next visit and report to you on how good it is. We do anticipate it to be delicious… and spicy!

I need to try that :hyper:

La Cava Bar inside Epcot in Mexico. We usually do a tequila flight and wash it down with a margarita. They are all good!

Cava de Tequila has the most amazing margaritas on the planet :cool1: and this is coming from a Texas Girl. Be careful though they are strong :hyper:

My best friend got drunk off these margaritas! Being inside Epcot was not fun when she was drunk and throwing up in the bathroom with kids around. We got to Moracco and we had to cancel dinner and leave, I had to help her walk (imagine stumbling out the park with my arm around her waist!). Talk about a memory we still talk about how she wasn't able to drink around the world!

Adding to my list as well. Please report back Dr. Gevil. I can not wait to her all about it! :thumbsup2

YUMMY! I have to try this! Next trip, it will be me and my college break daughter - who is still underage - is La Cava a "bar" (so that she can't enter) or is it classified more as a "lounge/restaurant" so that she could come in, too, share an appetizer with me and get something non-alcoholic while I try this? (or should I send her on a tour so I can get my tequila on, lol)

Yes, she can come in the tequila bar with you and have an appetizer. Or, you can get it to go.

Awesome! Thank you! Hopefully they have some kind of "mocktail" she can have - we've traveled all over the place and she's of age in some countries, so I suspect it might be torturee for her to have to drink a soda while I have this - so "to-go" might be the best option ... but knowing Disney, I'm guessing they probably can whip up a pretty amazing mocktail for her. Happy dancing! :cheer2:

They'll be able to make something non-alcoholic for her. A family in front of us had a few made for their kids.

It will be my pleasure to do so! Hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to post pics here by then. Check back around the evening of Nov. 9th!

And I'll second the PPs comment on the "strength" of La Cava's margaritas. They are no joke in that department. I have seen plenty of first timers or "amateur" drinkers at La Cava need some assistance after a couple and then try to stand up. :faint:

So I say - practice makes perfect! :smokin:

As others have said, no problem to get a virgin marg made up. In June, we were the first family in line to get in at noon. In addition to the free chips and queso and pic of us on twitter, our girls got their own slushie drinks sin alcohol. Although with some of pics they took wearing the giant sombrero, now I'm not too sure about that! :lmao:

Enjoy the visit! :wizard:

I had this a couple of weeks ago at La Cava, it was amazing :)

Wild Passion Fruit

100% Agave Tequila Reposado, ginger liqueur, passion fruit, mango nectar and fresh lime juice, topped with mango foam, served on the rocks

DD had the cucumber/basil margarita at La Cava two weeks ago (exactly… seems like forever :sad1: ) and it was pretty darned tasty! We did the tequila tasting at La Cava as part of the Epcot After Hours Wind Down- what a great way to end the first day of our vacation!!

We had AMAZING margaritas at Maya Grill. I had a blueberry basil and DH a jalepeno. They were so good. I would highly recommend if staying at CSR.
