Best Margarita in WDW?

(although there has been some discussion lately that they have gone to a pre-mix rather than made-to-order for some of theirs...I will defer to anyone who knows first-hand rather than my hearsay knowledge).

I've seen this a few times now - but find it hard to believe (although it would not shock me).
They have been rated on several lists as one of the top 10 tequila bars in the US.
It seems like a big mistake, but it is common for frozen margaritas.

Can anyone add some insight to this - I know I'll be seeing what I can get out of the bartender when I am there.

Our choice is always La Cava del Tequila, the little bar inside Mexico. The Margarita's there are not pre-made and you can actually tell there is liquor in them.

My wife favors the classic while I like the blood orange.

Another vote for the avocado margarita from la cava. Only advice is its a bit strong and not the smartest first drink for drinking around the world :/ After reading this thread, I can't wait to try the Italian margarita in February!

Another vote for the avocado margarita. Had it twice in August at the tequila bar in Mexico. Once I got it to go and the second time we went in and had chips & salsa, the cheese dip, and the awesome guacamole! That stuff is worth the trip in alone. Enjoy!:thumbsup2

Note you can get all the la cava margaritas at San angel inn too. They aren't on the menu but you can order them. No prob

Thank you-that is good to know:thumbsup2 We have eaten at San Angel the last two trips. Love the atmosphere:love:

I do not vote for the avocado margarita. I love avocado but thought this drink was not great! I like the blood orange margarita

Last time I was in the World, I had the coffee/mescal margarita at La Cava. It was incredibly tasty and completely kicked my @$$.
I'm going to have to try some of the fruitier ones this next trip.
