What is the best macho movie ever made? To be considered a "macho movie", it must contain most of these charactersitics:

* The villain has no redeeming qualities.
* Things will be blown up.
* Guns will be fired and meaningless characters will be killed.
* The main character won't say much but he will say some catchy things.
* A woman or child will be kidnapped.
* There will be hand-to-hand combat to prove who is really the toughest.
* Someone will have a very cool vehicle.

I was thinking Die Hard. It has all of those wonderful qualities plus a very liberal usage of the F-word.

Has anyone seen xXx with with the Vin something guy? I have not seen it myself but thought it looked like a total guy movie when I saw the previews.

First thought to come to my mind was True Lies, but I'd have to agree with Die Hard as well. Die Hard may be lacking in the "very cool vehicle" category, though (unless you count Argyle's limo, but Arnold has a Harrier jet in TL).

I'll agree with Die Hard. It doesn't quite fit the "main character doesn't say very much" category, it's must be the thinking man's macho movie LOL. I love that movie!

Can horses be considered vehicles? If so, then Jeramia Johnson. Otherwise, I vote for either Terminator movie. :)

I'd probably agree with Die Hard, but if you ask my DH and my BIL they would both insist the Macho Movie of all time was "The Dirty Dozen."

The closest I can stand to this genre of movie is any of the Lethal Weapon movies - but I'm not sure they fit all the "macho criteria" on the list. ;)
