I’m in the minority and loathe Art Smith’s mac and cheese. It looks wonderful, but it tastes like paste. It’s supposed to be southern style, but my mil and sil make amazing southern style mac and cheese, and Art Smith’s ain’t it.

I also recommend Steakhouse 71 - and if you are in the dining room and ask, they'll let you order the bar version, which includes small bits of jalapeno and bacon. Delicious!

Biergarten or as they call it Nudel Gratin
The recipe is online just search it as above. It plain mac n cheese but very good. I am not a Mac n Cheese person unless it is baked which this is.
But obviously a hefty price tag for just this. But one trip that is mostly what we ate as the rest was just ok and really have no regrets.

While I have normally really liked the Mac n Cheese at Regal Eagle, when I had it last month I didn't like it at all. I ordered it for lunch as did my 3yo granddaughter (I don't like bbq so I always get the Mac and cheese haha). She tried it first and then refused any more. I then tried mine and understood why. While it had the same consistency as before, there was definitely some sort of seasoning in it that just wasn't good. I couldn't finish it either. I just wanted to give a head's up for anyone who has liked it in the past that it may be different this time.

Went to Regal Eagle a couple of weeks ago and the mac and cheese was bleh. Had to add some BBQ sauce to give it taste. Noticed they added some breadcrumbs at the last minute to add texture but just wasn't anywhere close to good.

Guessing Disney Accounting killed it...

For my birthday last year I was treated to dinner at Jiko but didn't like the mac and cheese which I know many people love. It seemed very rich to me, and by "rich" I mean it was too creamy and maybe even a bit too cheesy, if that makes any sense! As to which mac & cheese I have liked best, it's definitely Gasparilla Grill.
