We are considering swtiching from the Contemporary to the Polynesian...What would be your recommendations for the best longhouse for a garden view room? Thanks in advance for your help. :) ~Valerie

We made the switch from the Contemporary Bay View Tower toom to a Garden View at the Polynesian today...can anyone recommend the best longhouses for a garden view room? Thanks again. ~Valerie

I can't tell you if our view was the best but we certainly enjoyed it. We were in Tokelau facing the quiet pool. We got patio rooms and I was sure that I was going to be disappointed. Turned out to be wonderful. Our patio was surrounded by beautiful foliage so we felt secluded in our own tropical paradise. We just needed to cross the walkway and we were at the quiet pool. Lovely and peaceful.

We have loved every gardenview room that we've had at the Polynesian. The landscaping is beautiful.

We've always been so pleased that I don't even request a particular longhouse preferring to leave it to the tikis.

The only view I'd rather not have is the parking lot side of Rapa Nui. Even those rooms have pretty landscaping in between though.

Our experiences: Tahiti garden view is green, quiet, very nice and just a quick walk from Transportation Center.

Fiji garden view can include a view of the Wedding Chapel, luau cove, and/or monorail.

We love the Rarotonga, pool side, first floor. Every year we request it. I don't think you can really go wrong at the Poly. We've never had a view we didn't like! :)

Have a great trip!

Hi from Massachusetts!

We stayed in Tokelau during our December trip. It was perfectly located, near the quiet pool, bus stop and laundry. A quick walk to TTC for the Epcot monorail, and convienent to the volcano pool and the GCC. Loved it! Anywhere you stay at the Poly will be magical...and so different from Massachusetts!

Enjoy!
