Best Location at OKW

We are staying at OKW from Jan 4-9 to celebrate my godchild's golden 4th birthday. Which is also including breakfast with Mary Poppins!!!
Which is the best building and/or rooms to request and what are the chances of getting what we request?
We will have 2 studios and are hoping to have adjoining or at least close to each other.
Please advise.

Our last two stays at OKW were a little disappointing because we didn't get any of the buildings we put on our request. We ended up waaaaaayyy in the back on Miller Rd. We faxed in our requests 3 days prior to arrival and also checked-in early. It didn't seem to help at all.

We are DVC members and make our requests 11 months out and get our requests 80% of the time. It all depends on availability the day you are checking in . We prefer buidings 11-14 or 23-26 to be close to the main pool and HH. Here is a map for you below.

You have a better chance of requesting the view(water view, golf course view), handicap/non, smoking/non, close to Hospitality House or not, than requesting a specific building. A few years ago, after they built the new buildings (62, 63 and 64), we requested a new building and got it, but we didn't request a specific building, just a new one.

It's very hard to find a bad view at OKW. The quiet pools are are wonderful and all the bus stops are convenient. You can always hop any of the buses to get back to the HH. And the Internal/DTD bus starts there and ends there before leaving the property.

Don't fax any requests in. DVC doesn't accept them. Make your requests when you reserve.

No studios will be connected to another, but they may be in the vicinity of each other.
