DF's favorite dessert is Key Lime Pie so I was wondering where we could find the best at WDW?? Thanks so much to anyone who knows!!

Many, many moons ago there was a place called Minnie Mia's at the marketplace where we had a key lime pie that was muy bueno! Except, its not there anymore so......probably not particularly helpful.....I'll hang up now.

Very nice try :thumbsup2 But I would need a recommendation of a place that does still exist.... thanks for the input though!!

Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and Wolfgang Pucks Express both have an excellent Key Lime pie.

I had a key lime tart at Coral Reef that was WONDERFUL! They just added it to their menu. He may want to give that a try.

We'd had it at the Cafe, and it was awesome! :goodvibes

I had a very good key lime pie at Old Key West's Good to Go. This is the fast food service counter. It was not decorated as the other one in the picture, but it tasted good.

DW enjoys the key lime pie at Flame Tree BBQ in AK. Since its a counter service restaurant it would be easy to get a piece and try it.

Why not make your own when you are at home?

I use Nellie & Joe's Key Lime juice. They have a web site where you can mail order their products.

I double the recipe for a thicker pie and use a little less key lime juice so it's smoother and not quite so tart. I've gotten rave reviews on my home-made Key Lime pies

There was a tiny piece that was good in the dessert sampler I got at Yachtsman's Steakhouse...a couple of years ago. If they still serve it, it's probably good!

This was totally my fav key lime pie at WDW---SUCH a pleasant surprise. Remarkably, Planet Hollywood makes the grade, too!!! (the 2 were very similar) These both had a nice tart flavor, and exactly the right texture of a traditional key lime pie...nearly custard-like (but NOT quite).

I vote AGAINST WPC...it was more like a key lime cheesecake. (not bad, really, but NOT really key lime pie).

I also liked Sunshine Seasons...not really a key lime pie, either. More of a key lime fluff on graham crust, but a great flavor. Nice & tart.

(DD didn't like it anywhere cuz it wasn't sweet...my little chocoholic!)

Tinkershell---

I can't believe that you know Minnie Mia's at the Marketplace. I loved that restaurant! It was one of our favorites----I'm still in mourning each time I go to WDW and it's not there. Thanks for the memory.

Del:)

I think there was a tasty Key Lime Pie on the dessert table at Cape May Cafe.

I had a TO DIE FOR Key Lime Creme Brulee at Narcoossee's- seriously, I don't usually like Creme Brulee, but this was amazing- one of my favorite desserts of ALL TIME.

Sorry Disneymooner, but when I saw your name I had a sudden vision of two big white butt cheeks with a Mickey painted on each one! (Sorry, but its 8 am here and I'm still half asleep!)

lol... understandable!!! i was up until 2am pricing different packages with the new January code and now i'm up at 6:30 about to start calling CRO. Hope I'm awake enough to make sense...

My family is originally from Key West, so I am a bit of a key lime pie nut. Olivia's at Old Key West has a great pie. It may be the same version that is available at Good to Go as someone else mentioned above...

We had wonderful Key Lime Pie at Crystal Palace. Is this dessert only served during the spring and summer months??

Mmm....key lime pie.

DARN IT! We were kinda creme bruleed out by Saturday...(and not totally thrilled with them up to that point anyway...)

Now that being said, Narcoosees TOTALLY won best WDW desserts for the trip. We had the coconut mango panne cotta with orange chocolate coating & sorbet...WOW! And then the YOMD almond crusted cheesecake...OMG! FAB! And the white chocolate garnish w/ the princesses on it...VERY cool...

OK, I just wanna go back for the food!
