Let me fill you in for why I wasn't here yesterday. For the past couple of weeks we had been told to be ready for a Trip to Ikea that would mean a lot of Shopping for DB and his GF, as they get ready for their new house. Of course, you could tell how excited we all were, but I grew used to it and decided to roll along with it.

However, mid-week this week a brainwave struck me. Memories of a Past Excurision where it was supposed to be a lame trip but turned out to be that of the Fabled DLRP trip (you might remember that as well!), made me soon think that it might not be what it seemed. After me and my Sister Tried to find out if their were any sales going on at the moment in Ikea, or work with any of the information we had already had gotten, we soon figured out that it could be a lie. However, without a Good idea of where we were going, I could not be sure. I prepared for the eventuallity that it was what it was.

However, I noticed that when my brother was working with his Sat-Nav in the car (which incidentally, was set to sound like Yoda on the way there and was set to Austin Powers on the way back), that we were indeed headed to a Secret Location. "Ikea" turned into Legoland Windsor!

Legoland Windsor Itself was very nice, although it rained during the time we went around the Lego models. Some Were Very Nice, and there are tons of Surpise Vistors in the London Set that you'll all know (Pictures to come, hopefully!). AND, as a Bonus, me and my Family were the First People Ever to Ride The Viking's River Splash when it was Released to the Public! :woohoo: It's nice being First for a Change.. :)

It was a Very Nice Day out, and the lines were very short due to the overcast Weather! I'd Reccommend that people go, it's well worth going! :goodvibes

Best Ikea Store Ever!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had fun:thumbsup2

sounds like a great shopping trip
would love to see some photos
we are big lego fans here

Definitely the best IKEA trip ever! :thumbsup2 Glad you had a good time, Matt...

Excellent Ikea day Matt ;)

Sounds like a fantastic day Matt :thumbsup2

What a fabulous surprise! DD has gone there for the day with her Dad today, so hope they have as much fun.

Your family arrange some awesome surprises Matt!

Matt, we missed you there by 24 hours!! :confused3

.. and there are tons of Surpise Vistors in the London Set that you'll all know (Pictures to come, hopefully!)..

I did actually think of you and take a photo of something on a tall building in the Canary Warf area! Guess you saw it too (and probably many more details as I had to keep the pushchair moving.

Glad you enjoyed the new ride - we didn't ride anything without the kids but it was still a great day (I don't do big rides anyway!) weather sounds a little better as it didn't rain but was just dull.

Better than Ikea anyday (and I love a trip to Ikea!)

Wow, sounds like a great trip out, Matt :thumbsup2 Good job you didn't just end up at Ikea, that would have been very disappointing after you suspected something was going on :lmao:

Hope you are able to show us the photos especially as (incidentally) I have never been to Legoland - or Ikea:rotfl:
