Best Ice Cream

Our family loves ice cream and we are looking forward to sampling the choices at WDW. Where are the best places to get ice cream? Are there any unique or not to be missed ice cream experiences we should search out?

I think the best ice cream is at Ghirardelli at DTD. If you want somewhere uniquely Disney, your best bet is probably Beaches and Cream at Beach Club.

Well if you are ice cream fans you have to try the kitchen sink at beach club its a must do!!!

I totally agree. The ice cream is wonderful and totally reminds me of my childhood in the Bay Area.

We also love Ghiradellis!

MK- Auntie Gravities, Main St Ice Cream Parlor,Ms Potts Cupboard and the Plaza Restaurant, Aloha Isle..

Our favorites is Ghiradelli's, Beaches and Cream, and the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor. We also like Auntie Gravities a lot but that is the typical soft serve ice cream. Then of course if you like pineapple my DD9 and I always have to stop off at Aloha Isle and get us each a Dole Whip Float

No - I don't think Ghiradelli's accepts the Dining Plan.

Ghirardelli is the best! Their portions are big so beware!

My favorite is Ghirardelli's, but Mainstreet Ice Cream Palor's waffle bowl sundaes are really yummy!

Ghirardelli's is great but to look at the lines and the crazy squabling over tables, you'd think it was the only place in the county that served ice cream!

we also love our gelato found in many of the restaurants and in italy

The Fountain at the Dolphin has the best ice cream in WDW IMHO.

Ghirardhelli is so awesome, but as pointed out, is not on the ddp.

For classic and uniquely Disney, do Beaches & Cream ( a MUST for us), Dinosaur Gertie's, and Aloha Isle. Mmmm now I want a Dole Whip Float!

I would highly recommend Ghirardhelli at Downtown Disney Marketplace and Seashore Sweets at the Boardwalk.
