Best Ice Cream?

B&C does not say anywhere that they serve Edy's - did you ask them? Whereas the Plaza has a big Edy's logo above the menu.

I really think that Ghirardelli's is their own brand of ice cream and I find it to be premium.

Its Edy's - they have the contract with Disney - finding no Edy's ice cream at Disney is like finding non Nescafe coffee.

We love the Beaches and Cream too, but we definitely love Ghirardelli a lot more!

I love Ghiradelli! My favorite thing there is the warm brownie sundae. SO good!

I'm lucky that I we live in a town where we have no less than four GOOD ice cream shops - small batch shop made ice cream. One usually gets nationally ranked (and I don't even think its the best). Like many things, ice cream at Disney is a matter of expectations - and its hard to tell on the internet what someone else's expectations are. As a complete ice cream snob, I like Ghiradelli's better than B&C, but I wouldn't go out of my way for either of them - both however, are perfectly decent ice cream shoppes if you aren't spoiled like I am. Since both Ghiradelli's and B&C can involve long lines and long waits, we usually skip ice cream unless we have can take advantage of a chance opportunity (walking by Boardwalk's Candy Shop - where they have Edy's cones - and there is no line and we want ice cream).

Other than B&C, I really like Mrs. Potts cupboard in Fantasyland. They have awesome hot fudge brownie sundaes. They are pretty big, and I think they were $3.50
