Best hotel for 1/2 marathon?

My daughter and I will be racing NEXT Labor Day weekend.

If I were to consider one or two nights on-site (we will be staying longer, have no problem with a move to a Good Neighbor Hotel), what is the best hotel for proximity to the starting line/race corrals, etc?

The closest hotel to the corrals and start/finish is without a doubt DLH. The corrals are on Magic Way and up Disneyland Dr north of the hotel. The finish is on Downtown Dr sort of in front of the hotel.

GCH is next closest with PPH a decent walk from the starting corrals.

I need to see if a couple of nights there is worth it. She will be doing the half, I will be doing the 5k, so we would want two nights.

Nope. The fee includes the ability to participate in the race. They do offer discount tickets though through GET travel.

I stayed at the Grand Californian & it was an easy walk to the start.

Anywhere you stay will be close. Not like WDW where it feels like you're walking miles just to get to the corrals.
