Best Hot Dogs in WDW

On the food porn thread, I saw a picture of a hot dog, with bacon and cheese added, from Beaches & Cream that looked awesome. Me and DS are definitely trying that in August

From what I've read, the hot dogs at Fairfx Fare, DHS, are pretty good too.

I'm with the pp who said that for me, the dog at Casey's is just fine. Gourmet, probably not, but it's about the atmosphere for me. The Germany hot dog is pretty decent, too! No complaints from my end.

I've heard people say good things about the hot dogs in AK too.

I would go for the dogs at Fairfax Fair at DHS, the pretzel dog at Dockside Diner at DHS, the brat at Germany's CS at Epcot or last on my list but not bad - the pulled pork dog at Casey's.

Apparently the Hess dog and the Hess pizza (MK locale). Reputed to be AWESOME! We'll be stopping in.
I agree, it's sad when we are all making a run to the gas station for eats! One of the GREAT parts of renting a car. Not being held hostage for crummy food and premium prices.

Cheers to that! THe dogs and pizza at Hess are fantastic (plus, there's that oh so great Coca Cola Freestyle!) and reasonable. Some of the days, I think Tues-Thurs, they have specials ($6 cheese, $7 pep pizza)

The dogs at Casey's used to be good - now no longer worth the calories and certainly not worth the price. I'll have to agree with what some other posters have said - when you're at Disney and you need a fix Sommerfest is the place to go.

Yes, right at the end of Main St past the Emporium. That's what we have done for dinner on MNSSHP nights.

Just found out about the change in Casey's hot dogs!

They were my favorite hot dogs anywhere and I was craving them for my January trip! I believe I'll still eat there as I love the atmosphere, but if they are so different as all reviews say, I'll probably do it just once (was planning to maybe hit Casey's twice in our 2 or 2.5 MK days).

When we were in the utilidoors on our KTTK tour, there were buns, buns everywhere. None of those 6 foot stacks of rolling pallets of buns had labels on them as to where they were going. Which leads me to believe even more that in WDW, a bun is a bun is a bun. I doubt tooo many of the CS/QS places have distict HD buns. sad. Bring me back my soft buns!!!! I don't care if they turn to sugar and glue in my body! I'm not living on the danged things. Let me enjoy my BUNS!

Doesn't even need to be a Wegman's, they're sold everywhere here lol. My cousins in Houston take pounds of them back when they visit.

Mmmm sahlens hot dogs at Disney, that would be a dream come true!

I have actually used one at a local burger place and just didn't know what it was called!! Diet sprite with flavors!! Hess, here I come!!

I agree Casey's was great! We had the dining plan and was able to get cotton candy for our dessert and it was the best cotton candy we had ever had (strawberry flavor). The hot dogs we're great and the buns were fresh. Definately will eat here again.

Oh yeesh - you can pick up a Nathan's dog at Sam's for a buck.

Don't get me wrong, I love Nathan's, my point is that they're.not exactly hard to find...

Casey's is by far the best! I love putting liquid cheese on mine I'm a HUGE hot dog lover as well. I interned @ WDW & tried them all over property & always go back to Casey's

I am sad to hear Casey's has gone downhill.

Also, I hate Coke Freestyle. It ruins the taste. I just want a regular Coke Classic without tasting the other flavors. YUCK!
