Thank you all for the congrats! I never saw a staff member visit my room
while I was in it, so it was "stealth judged". LOL!

We won not only the Best Guest Room pin, but the Briar Patch room and
Tent Room, as well as 2000 credits! Woot!

Of course, I already bought the Briar room yesterday, so now I have two of
them! Here's what I did with the Briar room I bought yesterday, called
Cozy Fire Briar:

I believe I was stealth judged too. I don't recall ever seeing a staff member in my room so I never even had a thought that my room would be in the running for Best Guest Room. I was planning to spend time sitting in my room starting tomorrow to increase the chances my room would be judged! I am so in shock as I sit here with a huge smile on my face! I didn't have a clue until some of you started congratulating me at closing! What a great surprise. I quickly bought a Snowman Magic pin with the credits and found my Best Guest Room pin. I didn't even realize more stuff was awarded! Now I can't wait until VMK opens tomorrow!

Congratulations to everyone else who won and to people who have created great rooms but haven't won yet. Your time will come and I'll do whatever I can to help you win the award you so deserve!

I'd like to offer a special congratulations to you, BriarLori. Your Hanukkah room is so beautiful and you did an amazing job with the color scheme given there aren't many blue or silver (I can't even think of one silver item!) items in the game. Of course there are no Hanukkah items in the game so you get extra points for creativity in my opinion. Congratulations on a job well done. Your new room is so warm and cozy looking, I hope to stop by to see it in person.

LOL! You and I both had the same idea about hanging out in our rooms to
be judged, only to find that we've not only been judged, but won! My surprise was that I saw a newsletter dated 12/20,
and I wanted to see who won Best Room.
That was me with eyes popping out of my head. LOL!

I really want to see the other winning rooms, but I don't have any of you
on my friends' list. I tried to do a search for "Rock" for qruthie's room, but
I didn't find it at the time I looked last night. I did get to see one of
DBourque's rooms, but not his winning room.

I must admit that the idea for a Hanukkah room started when Madamecat
and I were in one of the first Christmas rooms we've ever seen, and we
both thought it would be fun to create a Hanukkah room! I have a teleporter
linked to her Hanukkah room near my dance floor, and the other teleporter
near the entrance leads to the Dis Holiday Lobby. It was a challenge
to find the right "stuff" for Hanukkah, considering some of the blue furniture
I would have liked to use was "beta".

I did get to see one of
DBourque's rooms, but not his winning room.

He has a teleporter in our Dis Holiday Lobby too. His teleporter can be found in the last row (all the way against the skull -lol) the third teleporter from your left. Also, qruthie's room can be found in the Dis Holiday Lobby too. I think her's can be found in the second row. (I know I need to make a legend for these teleporters.)

Now I am going to have to create a section in the room for best guest rooms.
