Best Golf Course

We are staying at AKL in October (just paid yesterday and am soooo excited). My BF is a golf fanatic and I was going to prebook a game of golf on one of the wdw resort courses. Does any-one know which is the best for a really kean golfer? I have looked and just have no idea :/

There is a professional golf tournament held each fall in Disney World, and they play on the Palm and Magnolia courses. The final round is held on the Magnolia, so that would lead me to believe that is the more prestigious of the two.

I am sure if your BF is a golfer he would love to play either one, but just check your dates. I am pretty sure the tournament I mentioned is played in October! That would pretty much leave those two out if it is during the same time! On the bright side, he could go watch some pros play!

If by some chance they are playing the pro tournament when you are there, a short cab ride away is Hawks Landing, surrounding the Marriott World Center. That is one heck of a course!

Osprey Ridge is considered by many as the best WDW course and is rated 4.5/5 while the other courses are 4.0/5.
It also may be absorbed by the Four Seasons as their private course in 2010 and so it may be you're BF's last chance to play here before it closes to the public. I chose Osprey for this reason alone, I'll play the other courses later.

FYI: Oak Trail is a 9 hole walking course, so I wouldn't suggest is as anything but a practice round for a good golfer.

PS: If you are planning Golf for your BF with your valuable disney time, He should be aware you are a KEEPER and he should get a ring on your finger as quickly as possible!
