I've deal with people that aren't interest in WDW, and it's not that easy to make them go. ANyways try to find some sort of activity at WDW that he loves (like fishing) and try to convince him that this could be a great trip for his girls.
Ps. If reasoning doesn't work, you can always do this :) : here's an idea... not very intellegent but always an idea... make with him a "bet", something you know you could win, and the bet could be "If I win this, we make a family trip to WDW":) .

So sorry to hear your friend just doesn't "get it". Even after going, some never do.

Are his daughters good students? High school graduation is not that far off for the older child. You could encourage both of them to attend college, and try for the Disney College Program. Your friend will have to go see his daughters :thumbsup2 while they are working there.

It time to get a new best friend!! :rotfl2:
Just kidding.....sorry I couldn't help myself!

Ok, take a deep breath. Everyone is different. You can't make someone go to Disney and even if you could, you can't make them enjoy it or even guarantee that they will enjoy it. I love WDW like you do and I know plenty of people that think I'm crazy, but I don't let it bother me. One of my friends I know won't ever go to WDW, she is totally into the nature thing, every vacation her famiy goes on is camping in the Grand Canyon or staying in some remote cabin in the mountains, no phones, no television, that kind of thing and she LOVES it. She hates crowds, noise and hub-bub. I am pretty sure she's never even been to an amusement park, let alone WDW and I can guarantee, as much as she loves it, she would never convince me to go and I'd never try to make her go to WDW. My brother's ideal vacation is a beach house and laying on beach all day, every day on his vacation. SO boring to me. To each his own. I don't lose sleep over it.

I totally understand your wanting his girls to be able to experience Disney, but it's not worth losing a life long friendship over. Leave it up to his girls to try and convince him to go. Maybe he will change his mind, maybe he won't, but you can't get as stressed out over it as you sound, in the end it's his decision and I think you might have to accept that.

I was thinking the same thing! :rotfl2:

Seriously though - fishing, "manly things", boating......all activities you can do at WDW!!! I think your friend needs help getting past the perception of just the theme parks and really learn about the whole experience and all the other things he can do there. And if that fails - I say tie him up, throw him in the back of a van, and drop him off in front of the train station at MK right before rope drop!!
