Best for lunch

Who's going, adults only? Kids? Large or small group? First timers? Are you paying OOP or with DDP?

If you want breakfast for lunch I recommend the Grand Floridian Cafe. The menu is a mix of breakfast and lunch entrees.

Another breakfast for lunch recommendation is The Wave. Book the latest breakfast buffet. Eat a quick breakfast in your room before an early MK EMH, leave park & walk over to CR, eat big brunch, take monorail from there around loop back to MK or your room for a nap ;)

Two adults early 30s on dinning plan

If you don't want to waste time commuting for food, then pick in-park. I love The Plaza, but tend to pick when paying OOP as its a good value. For DDP, I'd go Skipper Canteen.

I'm a fan of Liberty Tree Tavern's lunch. It's never ~packed~ in there, which can make it a comfortable meal to enjoy, and I feel that the menu's pricing isn't too bad for a table service location. Their pot roast is to die for!

I agree with the above recommendations for Skipper Canteen, The Wave, or Liberty Tree. The Wave serves breakfast and then switches over to lunch, so you could do either.

I agree with this! I loooove the wave. Great idea to book the latest breakfast and do brunch. Its an easy walk across to MK from there.

In the park, my first choice would be The Plaza and second choice would be Skipper Canteen. Outside the park, first choice would be The Wave and second choice would be Grand Floridian Cafe.

I agree The Wave is convenient and quite nice and an easy walk to save time. We enjoyed Geyser Point at the WL, but it’s obviously not on the monorail, but fairly easy to get to. It’s a lovely break in the middle of a busy park day, especially in temperate weather.

Yes, I love it there for lunch. And the room is so airy and light. Frankly, I went there for dinner once and was disappointed at the atmosphere. But great for lunch.

The Plaza and Skipper Canteen inside MK. Outside Grand Floridian Cafe and The Wave are good options. Also Ohana
