In your opinion, which character breakfast has the best food? We don't really care too much which characters we see, but we do want to make sure we get a good meal! Is it all pretty much the same, standard breakfast fare, or do some restaurants have better food/selections than others? THANKS!

While I really enjoy the food ar CRT, I have to say Chef Mickeys is better, because of the great variety they have there. They have all the breakfast staples and then some different stuff like breakfast pizza and cheesey potatoes. Every time Ive eaten there, everything has been delicious.
So Id say Chef Mickeys first, with CRT a close second.

I alos really enjoyed Chef Mickey's, especially the french toast and hashbrowns. I even took a picture of them so that I could torture myself later!

Well, I don't have any other breakfast to compare it to, but Crystal Palace has a wonderful Pooh Character breakfast...the food was terrific~ especially if you get an early PS when the restaurant opens...8:00am.

we loved Donalds at AK. Chocolate chip pancakes mmmmmmmmm :). Nice and plentiful selection and character interaction.

We LOVE the french toast puffs at Crystal Palace. That is definetly one of our must do's on every trip!!

best overall food at a character meal is definitely 1900 park fair at the grand floridian... made to order omlettes... fresh fruit... mickey waffles... all sorts of yummy stuff!

We really enjoyed Crystal Palace. Breakfast Lasagna!!!! Mmmmmm.

With 3 little princesses, Cinderella's castle is a good option. A quieter, more controlled atmosphere, but the food there is not always the greatest.

We did not care for the food at all, at Donald's at AK. THe atmosphere is fun though.

Good luck deciding.

We loved the Cape May breakfast. Everything was very yummy and the character interaction was great!

Have a blast..whatever you decide!! :flower1:

I second the Cape May Cafe. We went there on a whim last month because my brother in law didn't want to go to the food court at the cbr. I remembered reading in the birnbaum book that you really don't need a PS for the cape may breakfast so we decided to drive over there. What a great breakfast! The food was great, the atmosphere was great, very relaxed, the characters spent alot of time with the kids - minnie, chip, dale, goofy were all there. We were all pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. We went to chef mickeys the next day and all agreed that the food wasn't as good, but you can't beat the atmosphere at the contemporary resort.

My ultimate favorite is CRT (when we're lucky enough to obtain a PS. We have one for Jan 28, yea!!) The cinnamon cheese danish, to me, is why we try so hard to book (our 10 year-old DD has 'outgrown' the princess phase.) We've also enjoyed (very much) Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare and Cape May. While character interaction and 'dancing' was fun at Ohana, I did not care for the food. We were also disappointed at Donald's breakfastsauras. (We went the first month it opened.) I could tell they were trying, but we didn't get to see all the characters.

Breakfasts are my favorite meals at WDW (can you tell?) :D
