I know there is a Photography board but I looked there and they are getting to deep for my question so I'll try it here.

Where in WDW do you like to snap a photo of the kids or family with your simple digital camera.

I've gotten a good shot of the family spinning the teacup. I was on the ride so the shot shows the family still but the background is blurred to show the motion.

I also love a shot of my family on the bridge from the central hub to frontierland with the Castle behind them. I use it as my cellphone wallpaper.

Any tips?

I have taken a picture of DW and I sitting in a tea cup for each of trips going back to our honeymoon. Either the camera is smaller or I am getting bigger.

I think the Splash Mountain bridge is a cool back-drop (especially if one family member gets splashed in the process). If you can get all the family to stand still for a picture on AstroOrbiter (after you ride up the elevator and boarding the ride cars) overlooking Space Mountain, that is a cool spot as well. (You have to go fast here - CMs keep you moving).

Try getting the DW photopass photographers to take a picture in front of the castle after Wishes after the crowd has cleared. good luck!!

we get the kids photo in front of nemo at epcot every time we go just so we can see how much they have grown and changed , and we also just go around to the different resorts and take some family photos nothing fancy just a small digital camera , theres a carriage at Saratoga springs you can sit in and a big mickey head you can sit in at the contemporary

We used the Photo Pass photographers on our last trip and got great pictures. I'd look for these folks.

There is a Lilo & Stitch surf board in the main level of the Polynesian and I always take a picture of our kids standing next to it (tradition for us to have one meal - either the 'Ohana Character Breakfast or the 'Ohana dinner during our trip). It has been fun to see how much they've grown over the past 5 years and 3 WDW vacations. The surfboard isn't always in the same place, but so far it has not been difficult to find it.

We used PhotoPass for our last trip too, but sometimes you can't beat candid shots that you take yourself. Although, if it were not for PP, we probably wouldn't have any pictures with me in them. It's nice to look at the book I made from our last trip and actually see that I was there. ;) I don't have much proof from the previous 2 vacations.

We have taken a picture of my daughter in the same chair in the kitchen of Minnie's house every trip. Her first trip was at the age of 5 in 1999. We have taken a trip about every 2-3 years. The most recent trip was last summer whan she was almost 15. It is fun to see her grow and the surroundings change slightly. It has become such a tradition that she reminded us we had to do it last trip.

Hopefully Minnie's house will be relocated so we can keep taking her picture there. We joked that we will take her picture holding her child in that chair someday in the distant future.
