Wondering what entertainment/shows are best to see at each park? Suggestions please

In my personal opinion:

Magic Kingdom - Carousel of Progress or Philharmagic
Epcot - Serveur Amusant (France) or Sergio (Italy)
DHS - Fantasmic
Animal Kingdom - Festival of the Lion King

Festival of the Lion King is my absolute favorite show in all of WDW. I am really not a show person, but I never miss this when we go. I also enjoy Beauty and the Beast at DHS.

you'll find supporters for anything outside of the Canadian pavilion, but Voices of Liberty and Celebrate the Magic are my personal favorite things in Epcot and the MK, including all the headliner attractions.

I agree, Philharmagic is amazing. I consider that and Carousel of Progress to be attractions, though.

MK: Celebrate the Magic
DHS: Fantasmic (by far my favorite!), and I'm adding Beauty and the Beast for nostalgic reasons
AK: Festival of the Lion King
EP: If you haven't seen IllumiNations, you should seriously consider it.

That's highly subjective. We really love the street entertainers and could spend the better part of a day running around a park to see their different shows, but I think a lot of people will respond with shows that have their own venue and are listed as attractions (like the rides) on park maps. Here's my picks:

MK: street entertainment-- Dapper Dans, flag retreat, ragtime pianist outside Casey's; attractions-- Hall of Presidents, Country Bear Jamboree (no live entertainment, all animatronics)

Epcot: street entertainment-- Voices of Liberty, Japan drum show, holiday storytellers at Christmas

DHS: Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid attraction shows are okay in my book, worth seeing

AK: Here I like attraction shows best-- Finding Nemo (best attraction show on property), FotLK, Flights of Wonder; street entertainment always makes me happy here, but they change the shows a lot, so I'd try what sounds good, but I have no up-to-date recommendations

ALL fireworks shows top my list and are musts in my book-- Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic, and I can't wait to see the new Star Wars show.

My top 10 list:

1. MK Wishes
2. HS Fantasmic
3. HS Star Wars Fireworks
4. MK Celebrate the Magic
5. AK Nemo
6. AK Festival of Lion King
7. MK Main Street Parade
8. EP Illuminations
9. AK Rivers of Light (or whatever it is currently...probably will rank higher when completed...haven't seen it).
10. MK Festival of Fantasy Parade

Do you mean live entertainment, only, or the evening production shows?

I like ALL of the evening shows ( although I have faint hope for Jungle Book - haven't seen it yet). If you haven't seen them all then I think you should try to. Wishes, Illuminations, Fantasmic, Star Wars Fireworks, MSEP. Maybe Jungle Book?

As for regular daytime live entertainment, we like all 3 shows in AK - FOTLK, Nemo, and Flights of Wonder. In Epcot we like the British Revolution in the UK Pavilion, the Chinese acrobats, the Taiko drummers in Japan, and the Jammitors in FW. In DHS we always try to see BATB and the Streetmosphere characters. I'm looking forward to checking out the SW stage show at center stage on our next trip.
I can't say that the MK shows in front of the castle have ever been able to tempt us away from the rides.

Great (FREE!) non-park entertainment: Bob Jackson at POR bar.

You're exactly right!!! We usually get a few drinks and some pub food at the lounge, though. It isn't a WDW vacation for us without Bob. Only two months to go.

Fo park entertainment I would say:

1. Fantastic!
2. The British Revolution (they do a great Bohemian Rhapsody)
3. Flights of Wonder

Haven't seen Star Wars fireworks (except via YouTube) We have it penciled in for our upcoming trip.

Certain times of year there are special things such as the storytellers and CP at Epcot during the holiday season. When is your trip?
