Best Drinks At Disney!!

I had never tried Yuengling until I went to grad school in Virginia and I totally miss it. Now I can't find it anywhere near where I live. It's sad.


I'm a big fan of trying out the different kinds of beer at the World Showcase. I get tipsy really easily though, so I never quite make it as far around the world as I would like.

I guarantee there is at least a case in my fridge, you are welcome to it!! At Disney they have it at Prime time and Espn club. Oh and the bar back by the kids playground at MGM. (They also have it at the resorts at Universal….shhhh) I think they have a second brewery in Florida.

We like to try different beers too. We usually share that way we can taste more!

I'll have to start drinking LIGHT beer eventually...yikes!! I keep telling myself, 40LBS thinner for Disney, and NOT stopping till there!! So, have a beer for me...cheers!

Yuengling makes a light! But good for you! My girlfriend is working on that too (although i guess that includes me too!). So everything we are eating is something i made. No boxes no mixes just whole foods (beer does not count!). It is hard work! But its that time of year when football training starts up again!

OK I snagged the Monorail recipes for ya, and none of them sound very good! (Well Purple could be fun in the summer!)

All of them are built in a large glass over ice...


Monorail Red

.75 oz Galliano
1.25 oz tequila
2.0 oz Pineapple Juice
2.0 oz Sour Mix
Splash of Grenadine

Monorail Yellow

1.25 oz Rum
3 oz Pina colada mix
3 oz Orange Juice

Monorail Purple

1.25 oz Brandy
2.0 oz Sparkling White Wine
4.0 oz Grape Juice

Just saying LITE, yuck!! But yes, their out there...WOOT WOOT for your girl for wanting to be healthier too! Hard work, but it just FEELS better. This time, for me, it's NOT going to be about a number, but how I FEEL! Thanks for the encouragement!

Last trip there, we never drank. The ex hubby was a minister, nuff said.

My partner's also a minister, and we love our Martinis!! Speaking of... we had a wonderful Pineapple UpsideDown Cake Martini at Flying Fish a few years back.

If memory serves me correctly, it's 1.5 oz Vanilla Vodka, 1/2 oz Amaretto, and Pineapple juice (maybe about 2 oz or so). Pour into a martini glass, and sink a little Grenadine to the bottom for the cherry!

Now I'm ready for a drink!!
