My best friend and I will have babies 8 months apart. We will be going to Disney next year and the babies will be 11 months and 10 weeks old. We vacation with them often plus are together atleast once or twice a week.

I have a Graco Duo Glider which I could use for Disney. I like the added features of large canopies, cupholders, plenty of storage, etc. But it is soo heavy and bulky to fold for the busses.

Is there a stroller that would be better than the Graco for 2 babies? I've looked at the Maclaren double stroller and it seems great for toddlers but not so much for infants.

You two could rent a double stroller from A Baby's Best Friend located in Orlando www.abbf.com

For 68 bucks you could have a nice side by side which will accomodate both babies and you will be able to use it at the resort and the parks for the week.

They also have a nice double jogger, but it would have to wait for next trip because joggers are only for babies over 6 months of age.

I've been through 11 strollers, and I loved my Combi - very lightweight, individual reclines, a cupholder.

My oldest two are exactly 2 yrs apart. I had a Peg Perego Tender Twin when they were little. I really liked that stroller.

Absolutely love my baby jogger citimini, you can rent them through orlando stroller rentals, great canopies, fully reclining seats, can't say enough good things about this stroller.

How easily does the double citimini fold down? Is it really heavy?

I'm actually looking to purchase one rather than rent because I would like to have it at home as well.

I would leave the Duo at home and look into something lighter and easier to manuver. How much do you think the 11 month old be interested in touching the 10 week old sitting next to them? We had big issues with every SBS we've had and went with a P&T they can't touch each other. Then you can always use the stroller at home in single mode when you don't need the doubles kit. The only real issues are recline and sun shade which can be resolved by getting a parasol to clip in front.

There are a number of SBS that are lighter and easier than the Duo tho.

Baby Jogger City Mini Double. You will not be disappointed. It is by far the best stroller I have used. I have owned about 6 double strollers and this one tops them all. If I used a stroller for anything more than just Disney, I would buy one.

You can rent from Orlandostrollerrentals.com

Incase your families ever what to separate, would it be better to have two single strollers?

Is the older baby still in an infant carrier? If so, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Double Snap n Go by Baby Trend. (Though I think Graco might have something similar out now...) Anyways, obviously we (like most folks) used it for our twins--- and I wish I could still use it. It's super lightweight-- I could easily get it in and out of my trunk right after my c-section, easy to get the carriers in/out, easy to maneuver. I loved it. I can't say enough good things about it. It even had more storage space than any of my current double strollers. They run new at about $100, which is a steal for double strollers, or check out craigslist, moms of multiples clubs- sometimes they have some for sale or rent.

Oh, and if your kid's carriers are different brands, that doesn't matter. YOu can adjust each "seat holder" to a different brand of carrier.

Yes this!!

By the time the baby is 10 weeks old it should have enough neck control to sit in the Maclaren double with the seat in the reclined position. I think this is the best stroller if you want it to be lightweight and easy to fold on the bus. I have the Triumph and love it at Disney. I have the Phil and Teds sport now that I have 2 kids, but I haven't taken it to Disney yet. I'm nervous about how heavy it is. We'll see how it goes. I may be buying a Maclaren double too.

We had NO problems with getting the citimini on and off of the buses. It is my 4th double and I would not trade it for the world.

Last year we had two little ones. We bought 2 combi strollers. They are so easy to recline. They zip at the bottom to make like a buggy for the little one. It worked great, because I could sit in the shade with the little one and my daughter took the older one on a couple of rides. They were easy to shop with and get around things. A single stroller was just much easier than a double. If the 10 month old is screaming, you can get it away from the 10 week old. ( by the way ours was 12 weeks old last year, and we were just saying how easy she was on the trip) Have fun.

We also have Beco carriers for the babies. So we will carry them some as well as have them in the strollers. We won't be taking their carseats into the park... as I doubt the 10 month old will still be in her infant seat anyways.

We vacation with our friends quite a bit and always stay together the whole time. Since I have 3 older kids ( they'll be 15,11 and 5 at the time of the trip) we plan on taking turns with the babies to enjoy things with the older kids as well. So we definitely want a double as neither of us want to try and push 2 singles by ourselves.
