Hey guys,
Leaving a week Sunday for DLRP! Can't Wait!

We're looking at the multitude of resturants but it's hard to choose!
So which is your favourite DLRP resturant and more importantly why!
Thanks in advance

My favourite is Inventions. Love the food, especially fish starters and puddings, the character interaction and the atmosphere.

Out of all of the restaurants we tried we liked Annette's the most. Great atmosphere in there & the food was great.

Walt's :cloud9: It's a wonderfully themed oasis of calm. :goodvibes And being able to look down on Main St if you get a window table is the icing on the cake. Add a cherry to that if you're there during a parade!! :teeth:

It's a tough one.

California Grill is amazing, but it's expensive and not great for kids.

I love Cafe Mickey, the character interaction is fun but it's very loud.

Rainforest Cafe is fun and the décor is great but the food is hit or miss.

I'd probably say Annettes is my favourite. The food is lovely, the atmosphere is great and it's reasonably priced (for Disney), especially if you order from the favourites menu.

We love Walt's and Blue Lagoon :goodvibes Walt's food has always been lovely and the restaurant is just the best respite. Blue Lagoon theming is fab and we had a gorgeous meal in here :thumbsup2

Restaurant des Stars, plenty of choice as its a buffet & Annette's I love their burgers:thumbsup2

Has to be the rainforest for me. So much so we did it twice on our trip. The food was great and staff very friendly and helpful. There were 14 of us so not the easiest to cater for. :rotfl:

Oh I agree, this is my favourite restaurant too - so elegant and genteel.

If you're looking for a character meal then my favourite is Inventions - yummy food and characters at dinner too!

To be honest we've never had a bad meal at DLP and there's nowhere that I've eaten that I'd refuse to return to.

How many meals are you planning?

Walt's. Especially if you get a table at the window during the parade.
Oh, and the last time I was there the Blue Lagoon served the tastiest tomato tartar I've ever eaten :)

Walts. And I can sum up why in one sentence.

Their Cheesecake is heaven :lovestruc

Thanks for the tips! Let me be a bit more precise,
There's 3 of us, myself, the Mrs and a very hyper 2 and a half year old who loves all things Pixar.
We are on a low budget due to the euro at the moment and are going for 4 evenings do will only be able to afford to eat out once or twice.
So am after some great food with enough to keep the lil one interested. I am thinking Rainforest Cafe since that's the kind of food we like.
Thanks in advance again!

With a two and a half year old I would say you can't beat Cafe Mickey.

The food is not fabulous, but it's not awful either, and the 3 of you could share a pizza with a side order of salad/fries (you don't need to order a meal each), so it doesn't have to cost a lot. The character interaction is great in there, especially compared to the 'scrums' in the parks, so you are guaranteed some good photo oportunities!

I second that ::yes::

Also, as your son is Pixar mad how about lunch or tea at the Cowboy Cookout?

My favourites are Walt's and the Yacht Club!

I love going to Walts and getting a table by the window when the parade is on. And of course the food is yummy!

I also love the Yacht Club. I had the best meal ever there. The food was absolutely lovely and we had a table by the window and could look out onto the lake during our meal. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxed and we had such a nice evening there.
