So, we're planning out our trip surrounding the Haunted Mansion sleepover and DW wants to have breakfast in the park on Monday, considering we've NEVER had breakfast there. Where should be go? How late do they serve breakfast.

Thanks!

We like River Belle Terrace. It has MM pancakes, along with a lot of other options. The food was good and nice portions. I have also heard that Tomorrow Land Terrace has a good breakfast menu. Sorry, I can't help you with the hours that they serve breakfast.

Riverbelle Terrace (counter service) or Carnation Cafe (table service).

...Or you could try the Minnie & Friends character breakfast at the Plaza Inn in DL - there are lots and lots of characters, and your kids might love it!

Otherwise, Carnation Cafe or River Belle would be great choices too. In DCA, the Pacific Wharf Cafe (counter service) has gotten some good reviews for its breakfast bowls. Ariel's Grotto in DCA serves a family-style breakfast with the Princesses.

These are not in the park, but Rainforest Cafe has a nice breakfast. Storytellers Cafe in the GCH has a nice character breakfast (buffet or menu). Lilo and Stitch in the PPH is a nice character breakfast (buffet or menu). In addition to staying in the Haunted Mansion, you also won a night at the DLH too, right? So you could eat at either Goofy's Kitchen (buffet only) or Steakhouse 55 (table service) for breakfast.

We aren't big eaters, so we love the Main Street Bakery. Their cinammon rolls are the best I have ever had. We always split one for breakfast, because they are huge!

You know, I am so glad you said that those cinnamon rolls at Blue Ribbon Bakery are huge. That's what I thought, too! I couldn't finish a whole one by myself. I had to split it with someone. But not long ago, there was a thread on the DIS about sweets or a similar topic, and another DIS-er was complaining that the cinnamon rolls at BRB were not good and that the ones at WDW were better, partially because the WDW rolls are so much bigger. And my first thought was, I don't think I could imagine trying to eat an even larger cinnamon roll than the one at BRB in DL! That one is big enough for two people, easily! So I am glad to hear that someone else also finds them to be huge and that I wasn't just imagining it.:rotfl:

We like RBT, it has become a tradition on the 1st day. This time we are going to do GK since we have a voucher from Costco to use.

River Belle Terrace is very nice. Good food, typical price for Disney eatery and great views. The location is outstanding.

I also enjoy brunch at Story Teller's Cafe at GCH. A bit pricey, but good food and you get character interaction

RBT has good breakfasts!! We like to get a couple of plates of pancakes and eggs and a plate of fruit and share it. YUMMY!!!!

We also LOVE the cinnamon rolls....OMG, they are HUGE!!!! We had one at Carnation Cafe, I also had the cinnamon roll french toast, the server wasn't sure we knew what we were ordering but we did and yes, we finished it all! LOL That cinnamon roll tho, that was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good....

I vote for Minnie & Friends character breakfast at the Plaza. It is a nice large buffet spread with Mickey waffles, breakfast pastries, made-to-order omelets, eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fresh fruit, and all the normal breakfast beverages.

I would be willing to bet though, that any place you go they CM's (and possibly characters) will make sure to recognize you as the family that spent the night in the Haunted Mansion.

Have fun! :goodvibes
(P.S. I am so jealous!)

Mmmmm.......cinnamon roll french toast at CC.......SO yummy!

Thanks all. Leaving for the park at 6:30 tomorrow morning. I'll let you now where we ended up!

My vote would most definitely be for the Carnation Cafe. Croissant Eggs Benedict? To DIE for! :)

The OP is already at DLR now (after the 'harrowing night' in the Haunted Mansion), so we won't be able to find out where they went for breakfast until later, I guess.
