Hey All!!!
This will be my 1st Trip with my Kids and I want to have ONE Character Breakfast Experience for them! I was looking at a lot of the Places and they all seem to have the same food! So Overall Where would you Must go if you wanted to Take your Kids to a Character Breakfast???
Would Chef Mickeys be it????
Thanks so much!!!!!

Chef Mickeys is typical for most people to really get the whole character experience. I think the food there is not as good as other character breakfast. I do like the Crystal Palace with the WInnie the Pooh characters.

We love everything about Crystal Palace! The food is fantastic, especially Pooh's puffed french toast, and the characters are really sweet. We love going before the park opens and getting to take a few pictures in a nearly empty park and then being ready to hit fantasyland early!

If you do this try to book an 8:05 reservation on a non-EMH morning. I also recommend asking for the check in the beginning so you are ready to go when you are done eating.

Also please note that this is Pooh, Tigger, Eyore and Piglet and not Mickey and the gang, so if you really want those characters you are better off at Chef Mickeys.

Crystal Palace is our fave. Even my DS13 (12 at the time), liked it!! And he's not a big pooh fan! The characters really interact with you. And the food is so good. Love pooh's french toast and breakfast lasagna! plus there's an omlette station (this is where you get choc.chip pancakes!).

My 2nd choice would be tusker house breakfast (i dont like the lunch offerings). The breakfast is very delish (but no omlette station like at CP). Plus you get to see Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy!

Chef Mickey's has always been my family's favorite and still is. We always eat dinner on arrival and breakfast on departure. There is a wide variety of food so there is something for everyone. It's always hot and fresh. The wait staff has always been great. The characters just add to the whole experience. If you want the icons of disney go there. If your family loves Pooh, then I would recommend, like the others, Crystal Palace. Enjoy!!!

Our top pick is Tusker House and we try to do our first breakfast here.

My second favorite is Cape May Cafe.

Third choice would be Crystal Palace, breakfast only.

We LOVED Chef Mickey's (had breakfast there) but also really like Crystal Palace so it would be a toss up between those two!

Since only one, I'd do Crystal Palace for Pooh and friends or Chef Mickey's for the fab 5 depending on which characters would be best for your family.

Crystal Palace is a huge MUST for our family! The food was good and the atmosphere even better!

Our favorite is Tusker House.
Akerhaus is something to consider if you kids are princess fans.

A new family favorite of our family is Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at the Polynesian. You get to see Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch. It is a family style breakfast so all the food is brought to you no having to go through the buffett line. And it is cheaper than Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace.

I would say Chef Mickey's without a doubt. Was the best breakfast food that we had all trip. :) Akershus was alright, but Chef Mickey's was by far our favourite and would say a must do for every trip.

Crystal Palace is a never miss breakfast on our trips. The pooh's puffed French toast keeps us coming back. Plus we love getting into the park before opening to get pictures without people in the background.

My absolute fave character breakfast is 'Ohana! I love that they bring the meal to you family style so there's no back and forth to the buffet, which always makes me worry I'm going to miss a character op! The food is really, really good (the juice is especially delish).

I'm also going to vote for 'Ohana. The food was very tasty and I loved that it was something a little different. There was a plate of various breakfast breads on our table when we were seated. Then they brought out a platter of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes (excellent potatoes) as well as a plate of assorted fresh fruits. Then, they brought out their healthy platter than had turkey bacon, chicken sausage, roasted vegetables, and egg whites. Everything was delicious, we loved the parade, and we all really loved the atmosphere. Do note that you will see Mickey, Pluto, Lilo, and Stitch, so if you are looking for Minnie, Goofy, and Donald, you will need to go elsewhere.

If you want the whole Disney gang, Chef Mickey's would be the one to do as I don't believe that there is another breakfast that has Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald. I love that Crystal Palace gets you a lovely view and picture of the castle with no other guests. And Poohs breakfast lasagna? YUM! Unfortunately, my experience at Tusker House was one of the worst dining experiences I have had at Disney. I hear I am in the minority, though. Now, as a previous poster said, if you would like to see the princesses I would highly recommend Akershus.
