There is a thread for this in the WDW restaurant forum, and since I am doing a bit of a staycation soon, it got me wondering - who has the best burger on property? Please share photos!

I normally don't do TS meals when I visit DLR, but I think I may do one or two during my upcoming overnight stay. I don't think I've had any of the burgers on property recently. Let's get a definitive list going here with photographic evidence!

No photographs. Maybe I'll look back to see if I have any recent burger pics. Doubt it.
Anyway, local here. Go a couple of times a month and love a good burger. IMO, the best burger right now is at the Palm Breeze Bar on the Villas side of the DLH. I like to sit at the bar at the end of my park visit and order from the bartenders. The burger is cooked to preference. I like it medium and it was the perfect pink. Angus beef that was seasoned well. Here's the deats from the DLR website.

Palm Breeze Burger -- Angus Beef, Cheddar Cheese, House Spread, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion, Pickles, Toasted Brioche Bun, served with French Fries, House Potato Chips, or Fresh Fruit

I was just looking at their menu. It does sound good!

If it counts, my wife really liked the pineapple burger at Tangaroa Terrace (I had a bite and it was really good indeed)
That's a yummy one with fun toppings too - in addition to the pineapple. Bacon, havarti cheese, aioli. I like it with sweet potato fries.

I had a really good burger at the Hearthstone Lounge at the GCH a year or so ago. Here's the current description:

Hearthstone Burger*

Sonoma Sharp White Cheddar, Avocado, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Bacon-Shallot Jam and Chimichurri Aïoli on a Buttered Brioche Bun, served with French Fries
$27.00

My son likes that burger. But I personally don’t recommend Hearthstone unless the OP has a lot of time to kill. Every time we’ve been there it has been the slowest service of any other dining location on property.

I think it is just good to have an ongoing list with photos, opinions, etc. I go to Hearthstone often for drinks. I'm a local but normally don't eat when I visit, or I just get QS or Earl.

Here is the thread that inspired me. 12 pages and going! https://www.disboards.com/threads/the-best-burger-on-property.3962927/

If you will allow me to reminisce, Smokejumpers PRE COVID had a great burger which I had on a delicious gluten-free bun with wonderful fries...they also had the self-serve condiment bars that were loaded with yummy veggies. Alas, now they just have gigantic burgers, with all kinds of stuff on them. But, oh, back in the day, that was a must do every trip.

Nowadays I just get a burger at Hungry Bear, its not as good as they were before they went to BBQ and I dont really love the fries but it's ok. It's one of the few things I can still eat in the park. 😞

The burger at Flo's isnt bad either...just tend to be a bit on dry side as I think they cook all those burgers well done.

Hearthstone, Craftsman Grill (or Bar) are both a step up from the burgers inside the parks. Menus change regularly so they might be different when you are there.

I haven't had a burger in a while. Here are some pictures from the past couple of years. post-66204804"]https://www.disboards.com/threads/my-disneyland-dining-reviews-with-pictures.1253888/post-66204804, https://www.disboards.com/threads/m...-with-pictures.1253888/page-252#post-65723401, https://www.disboards.com/threads/m...-with-pictures.1253888/page-253#post-65739667

Splitsville! I have not tried the burger at the one in Anaheim, but the one I had at the Disney Springs location was fantastic! Am doing a staycation next week and it is one of the places I have on my mind as a possibility. But even more intrigued now by the Palm Breeze Bar since we are staying at VDH.

I would have said Carnation Cafe, but they changed the menu & it’s gone. Sacrilege.
I still like the Carnation Cafe, and we have breakfast and lunch there several times during each vacation. But over the years I've been disappointed in their menu changes and deletions. We used to be able to order milkshakes and malts, with the extra portion served at your table in the stainless steel mixing mug. That was fun. Now we can only get a vanilla float. Until recently, we could order strawberries with a Mickey waffle; the last time I was there the strawberries were replaced with an apple topping I didn't like. And also until recently the breakfast potatoes were especially good; now the potatoes are nothing special. As for the cheeseburger, I like the patty melt, but I liked alternating with the excellent cheeseburger. Now even the cheeseburger has been deleted. The Disney managers seem to be interested only in profits.
