Best discounts for Deluxe

What and when do we usually see the best discounts for Deluxe resorts? I know there have been some 35% off , but I can't remember if that was a pin only. I also seem to recall 40% off select ones, but I'm thinking that was a couple years ago. Anyway we've done free dining the past few times that we have been. It still may be a better deal, but I'm dreaming toward 2015 either the last week of August, or mid November. Any insight is appreciated.
We've never stayed Deluxe, but we always seem to end up visiting AKL and an Epcot resort would be really convenient as well.

I don't know if there really is a "best" time for deeper deluxe resort discounts. Disney certainly has rolled back its discounts in 2014 compared to prior years.

I would say average deluxe discount right now is probably 30%, but even looking at the current promotion that is out there, it can go up/down 5% depending on the resort or the dates selected.

I think the days of 40% discounts are probably over. I don't think even AP or Florida residents are seeing those type of discounts, at least not based on what I've been reading.

I think the Disney Villas (if included in a promotion) will trend towards the 35% discount, but if I had to plan for the future, I wouldn't set my estimate any higher than 30%.
