I'm sure this question is asked weekly, but I did a search and it didn't jump out at me, so if you don't mind answering, I'd like to know, what is the cheapest way to buy AP's? We need 2, non-premium.

We have the Disney Club until October 31. (We are going Nov 1).

We are DVC members.

We belong to Connections.

What about Floridaorlandotickets?

Any ideas?

Thanks for any info.

If you want APs, the only place to get them is direct from Disney. Florida Orlando Tickets and other vendors only sell hopper passes.

Use your Disney Club card to buy them at the Disney Store before your DC expires. The Disney Store will give you AP vouchers to exchange for the actual pass when you arrive. You won't need to produce the DC card when you exchange the voucher for the actual pass, so the fact that your DC expires before your trip is irrelevant.

Incidentally, I've heard people occasionally report that they were able to RECENTLY extend their DC memberships through 12/31/03. DC charges a pro-rated membership fee based upon the number of months you would be getting in the renewal. In your case, it should only be about $5 (2/12 of the full fee). You might want to call and see if they'll do the same for you if there is any chance you would want to use the shopping or dining discounts during your trip.

The only discount available for APs is a $15 Disney club card discount. Disney club is going out of business after Dec 31 and there hasn't been any word if a new AP discount will ever become available.

I think you can buy AP vouchers at a local Disney Store and then activate them at a guest services desk at WDW. The date of activation, not the purchase date, starts the one year period. The Budget Board often has threads that discuss APs.

Good luck!

We get our AP vouchers at our local Disney store every year.
I usually just call the store and the manager orders the vouchers
then calls us when they're in. I just hope that there will still be
some sort of discount offered after the DC is gone.

Thanks, I hope I can find my card. I think I will call to see if they'll extend my membership.

Do you know the number offhand?

(Is it obvious that I am in a very lazy mood? Maybe you could just buy them for me as well, while I just sit here asking questions that I could probably find the answers to if I actually tried.)
