best dinner show

might be a little late for reservations (going in two weeks) but what in your opinion is the best dinner show at the dis?

we have three boys, 2.5, 5, 7 and have reservations for hoop de do but co-worker said wasn't worth it. what do you like?

My wife and I took in the Hoop De Doo show a few years ago and we had a great time! There were lots of kids there and they liked it as well.

We think the HDD is worth every penny (tax & tip are included)!! The all you can eat food is very good and the entertainment is excellent and great for all ages. Check out the menu and reviews at allearsnet.com. Hope you are able to gat a reservation - you will have a ball. Bob.

We like Hoop De Doo, too! I have been three times - laughed till I cried every time. Food is OK - the entertainment is perfect!

Good luck in getting a reservation for the HDDR! We are going in 4 weeks and last week I tried to get in and there were no openings - but you never know! There were several openings for the Luau at The Polynesian but we didn't book that - at least not yet!

Have you considered O'Hanas? Its a great character dinner experience with lots of fun activities and games. The food's pretty good too

We've done HDD, and Backyard BBQ. We loved both for differnet reasons. The Backyard BBQ was great for our little ones to dance around and play.....lots of line dancing, etc. They even played kids games out from under the canopy. they had a trick roper entertain the kids. We loved the HDD becasue it was hysterical....our 6 year old never laughed so hard in all his life. I spent the majority of my time looking at him laughing, rather than watching the show itself!!!! I think the food at both is similar....neither is my favorite. But to my husband, he thought the food was great at both. BBQ is a buffet, while HDD is family style.

Don't listen to your silly co-worker! Go to the Hoop-Dee-Doo, which is, in my family's opinion, one of the best values in WDW (even considering the high price).

We make reservations to the HDD everytime we go down to DW. It's better than the Luau imop. Saying that I still will consider going to the Luau at the Polynesian next time we go. They will keep feeding you so you won't go away hungary. Your going to spend some bucks for food at DW so I don't think you'll find too many bargins unless you go up the road to a Golden Corral or something like that.

My veiw though is that I can go to the Golden Corral at home. I always budget a good bit for food when I go down to DW. I like eating small breakfast meals, like toast and cereal, and somewhat of a light lunch so I can splurge at dinner. Some though save a little by eating late lunches at these places paying the lunch prices and snack in the evening. The HDD though, I believe has 5 pm and 7:30pm shows.
