We're about to leave for CA in a few days, so I'll be away from my computer until after our trip to DL. We (sister, mom & I) will be eating at Storyteller's for dinner. I've looked over the menu, drooled over the dishes offered, yet cannot decide on what to get to eat! It all looked good to me.

Any recommendations?

And has anyone had one of the desserts on the special Anniversary plates? Do you think they are worth it?

Thanks in advance!

guiltymom -- Where did you get the menu for Storytellers?

Also, which locations offer the Disney dessert/anniversay plate deal? (Sorry, I think I've read that before but forgot)

When we had dinner at Storyteller's, I wasn't extremely hungry, so I just ordered a salad (it had mixed greens, pears, crumbled cheese, and candied pecans) and corn chowder. I ordered the corn chowder on the recommendation of a CM who conducted a tour of GC that we went on, and boy was that the best recommendation ever!! I actually am not a huge corn chowder fan (I love clam chowder though), but that corn chowder was to die for!!! Super-fresh ingredients.

I wish I could remember what BF had -- I remember he liked it though. We would definitely go there again!

I usually get something like a chicken quesadilla & corn chowder, and get filled up. It's so good, though. My son loves the buffet with the prime rib - you can also get corn chowder, and there are a variety of desserts. They also have salads, pasta ... I have found the food to be pretty tasty there.

Hi,

My little boy & I go to DL once a month (we live about 45 minutes away). One thing we always do is to end our day at Storyteller's. The buffet is fantastic and that is what I ususally have. The corn chowder is great, the caesar salad terrific and they also have great prime rib. My boy gets the pasta and the mickey chicken nuggets. The bread rolls are the kind that I used to love at school.

I have ordered ahamburger off the menu and it was quite tasty.

You'll have a great meal either way.

Ann

I'll be sure to pass along the suggestion of the corn chowder to my mom -- she just loves the stuff!

I'll be sure to let everyone know what we choose and how we like it once we get back from vacation.

After reading this thread I made PS reservations for my trip next month. Thanks for bringing it up, quiltymom, and thanks for the replies everyone!
