My boys are on a HUGE Chip and Dale kick and we'd love to take them to a character breakfast with Chip and Dale. The one at Storyteller's is flat-out called: Chip 'n Dale Critter Breakfast at Storyteller's Cafe so I'd assume we'd see them their but I saw another poster mention the duo is at 3 of the 5 character breakfasts? Which other ones are they consistently at? Probably not at Ariel's Grotto, eh?

Thanks!

It's safe to say not at Ariel's Grotto ;) They were at the Minnie & Friends Breakfast at the Plaza Inn both times I have been there, and they were also at Goofy's Kitchen.

Just another tip - if you have the Disney Visa, they have the character meet and greet at DCA that is strictly for Disney Visa holders. You get a voucher for a free 5x7 photo, as well. I believe it starts at opening and goes for 1 1/2 hours. We always see Chip and Dale there or Pluto. I believe they switch off every 1/2 hour or so.

I was the one who said they are at 3 out of the 5 character meals!:cool1::goodvibes

Chip and Dale are always at the Storytellers Cafe Critter Breakfast, but sometimes one of them might arrive before the other one.

Chip and Dale are always at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast - and they have been for at least 17 years!! I don't think there has ever been a time I have eaten breakfast at Goofy's since 1992 when I have not seen them. As with Storytellers, one of them might get there before the other one.

Chip and Dale are usually at the Minnie & Friends breakfast, but that is not as guaranteed as the previously mentioned two restaurants.

Take a look at the Character Meal photo & information thread (link below), and you will see that there is no shortage of these mischievous chipmunks!:

You are almost guanteed to see Chip and Dale each trip we do all the character breakfasts/dinners and see them at least 3-4 times. You really shouldn't have a problem.

We haven't done ST but we have been assured they are there by ST employees when we asked. We've eaten at ST for lunch & dinner and we asked then. We also saw them both when we did Minnie & Friends but we ONLY saw Chip when we ate at GK.

They might have changed this in the intervening time, but when we first went to Storytellers, we had the last seating. Not only had they stopped serving from the menu just at that time (and I didn't realize I could have asked one of the buffet line chefs to make me the item I was going to order off the menu), but Chip and Dale were LONG gone. The hostess told us that 10:30 is the latest you're going to see them, because they have "other obligations".

So make it for a proper breakfast time, not a "let's have this meal as close to noon as possible so we aren't spending scads of money and stuffing ourselves at one meal, then eating at another meal" meal. :)

Oh yeah! We always make our ressies for the 8 o'clock hour because my kids wont make it much longer with out eating breakfast before they will revolt!!!:lmao:

Whereas in my family, our stomachs can barely tolerate food before 9. Even DS!

Coffee or tea, sure (for me and DH), but not a big meal or really much more than a granola bar.

So for us, the earlier character meal times don't really work! It was VERY frustrating that Disney Dining didn't know that vital info about a character meal hosted by Chip and Dale...

Last time I went I bumped into them at the coke fountain around 2 and in Cali Adventure they were out in the sunshine plaza twice with very short lines :)

We saw them all over the place in November too. Even in Hollywood backlot once. Sunshine Plaza was a regular meeting spot too. Seems they like to hide in some of the corners there.

They're definitely regulars at Goofy's too, they even have aprons with their names on.
