I just ordered the Vegetarian Times magazine and found that the MAINT15 code is still valid so I got the 1 year subscription for $3.14.

I occasionally get emails from them with the Deals of the Day for a week at a time because I am a customer. I don't always get the emails on a regular basis.....I don't know why. However, you can go to the site each day and they will show the Deal of the Day.

I read - on the DIS - that Disney is actually going to stop printing this Adventures magazine.

I hope it is just a rumor cause my kid is on year one of a 3 year subscription - but maybe if you haven't subscribed yet - check first!

Martha Stewart Living doesn't seem to go down much. I subscribe and they have subscription cards in the magazine right now that offer 12 issues of MSL plus 10 issues of Everyday Food for $29.95. I have also received an email that offered 12 issues of MSL and a free tote bag for $19.80.

MSL rarely comes up as the special of the day at the Best Deal Magazine site...you would have to weigh out if it is worth waiting for that special deal to come around.

It has been my experience that, if a company cancels the magazine you order, then Best Buy Magazines contacts you and issues you a credit toward another subscription offer.

I contacted Disney Adventures magazine about the rumor of stopping the magazine and my response was pretty vague. We did receive the November issue and there wasnt anything mentioned about it

I inquired about my subscription to Best Deal Magazines and here is the response I received:

"Dear Ava,

The magazine which you are inquiring about has ceased publication. So that you might replace this title I am sending you a one time coupon code which is valid for $5.49 off any order on our website. Your coupon code is XXXXXXX and it is valid through 12/31/07."

I guess there's our answer about the demise of Disney Adventures, I hope no one lost too much money on it.
