It's our first to Universal Orlando in May.... any chance of getting sales on tickets prior to this? We are probably going for 2 days, but may look at 1 day and include blue Man Group..... any suggestions?

I would suggest Undercover Tourist for discount tickets for two or more days...you won't find discounts for one day tickets. Check to see if UT offers BMG tickets...I'm not sure. Also...you can subscribe to the Mousesavers newsletter that offers some discounts. AAA and Costco have been known to offer discount tickets but for multiple day tickets.

As of this writing, Costco in the Denver area are not selling tickets. Of course, they could get them back in at some point.

Is it worth is to buy 1 AP ticket for 1 person in the family to get the benefits that go with it for everyone??? (hotel room discount) if so which type of AP would that 1 person need to buy?

It can be worth it, depending on if the hotel discounts are available at the time you are going. You would need the preferred pass. You can check online rates with the code APH. You don't need to own a pass to actually make the booking with one but need to get one to show the hotel that you have it.

The website says you need the Preferred Pass (or the higher one) for hotel discounts, but when I called the hotel, they said it didn't matter. And when I checked in, I hadn't yet received my annual Power pass. I went to show the receipt that I had paid for it and she said not to worry about it. This was just last week.

Your mileage may vary.

So I entered the APh code and it looks like there is nothing at a special rate for our dates in Nov. Do you think there will be in a month or 2??

It is much too early for November APH codes. June APH codes aren't even out yet.

Oh...thanks for the info! So I guess I'll def. keep checking every month or so :thumbsup2

Exactly. And then when you find an APH rate, you can book it at that rate. Then keep checking. If it goes down, you can call with your confirmation code and update the rate. We did it and it was no problem.

:goodvibesMy husband was just in Denver for business and stopped in Costco and they had the universal 3 day tickets again. He said they don't expire till 2015 and can be used for any 3 days till then. We are considering buying those for some family that can join us for all 3 days before the cruise. UT 1 day park to park is 122 i think so for 20 more dollars they could get 2 more days sometime before 2015. For us it's cheaper to get them through UT since tax and shipping is already included and we will use all 3 days
