Hello,

I am planning my first Disney vacation with my parents and my kids. We are planning on going in November and will spend 4 days and mayyybe 5 in the park. Our big focus is obviously MK for two days and my husband is into Star Wars and kids love TS so HS as well.

Anyways, what "week" or days would you suggest in November? This will be our first trip but with my elderly parents and we are there for at least a week solid as we want to see other things in the area as well.

Thanks!

Well, you probably don't want to here this, but I would say none...

The beginning of the month, you have election day, which many people take as a four day weekend.

The following week, you have Veteran's Day, which can also create a lot of 3 day weekenders.

Also, mix in that Wine and Food Tends to end in Mid-November, the recording of the the Christmas Specials, and of course then there is Thanksgiving...

So, would that not be the first week of November and the last week of November or at least a few days during any week? I keep reading "
  • November weekdays (not include Thanksgiving week) " are OK...

Is your 'week' flexible at all or would it have to be a straight Sun-Sat? Could you come in on say a Tuesday and loop it around to the next week?

Somewhere mid month, just avoid Thanksgiving week. If you can do the week after Thanksgiving, that would be a better choice.

Maybe! I am not sure yet... originally it was coming down on a Friday and returning on a Sunday type of deal but maybe the other way could work?

In that case I echo the poster that said 14-22 (was going to suggest 15-21) skip any holiday weekenders from Veterens Day and dip out before the Thanksgiving crowds get crazy.

We were there the week of the 15th last year and caught the end of Food and Wine which was great.

There is Jersey week so teachers get some days off first week of November. We book for Food and Wine; dates change; this year end November 20

We have gone the first week of November since we are from NJ and our schools close almost the whole week and we’ve never found it to be crazy. Except for Epcot on the weekend. I have heard the week before thanksgiving is the best week. The calm before the thanksgiving storm.

We are going Oct. 27 till Nov. 4 in 2022. We want to experience Halloween and a little bit of Christmas. It’s going to be crazy that week and it’s okay.
We went the week after Thanksgiving last year and it was wonderful. This is usually when we take our Disney cruise too. It’s our favorite time to travel.
