Help, doing my rough planning before I make my ADRs next week, and I can't remember the best days to visit each park. I know its in the Brits Guide but I lent my copy to DS cos she goes friday. I know there was also a link on AllEars but can't find it on there either.

I always base it off the park that had EMH the previous day as then being the quietest! Although I do also check Touring Plans.com for their crowd calendar.

Claire ;)

One thing is for sure EMH days are the busiest. It is funny really because they are a perk for staying on site but you end up being in longer lines if you go on that day.:) We always visit the Disney parks the day after an EMH and just have walk on rides even in July (first thing in a morning though).

EMH are busy days full stop. We avoid them. The nights when we have hit Magic Kingdom and it is an evening EMH the lines are the longest we have ever seen, and the crowd levels are bursting out. We only go in for the fireworks but it does make me wonder why it is considered a perk when the lines are longer than normal.

The morning ones are not that much of a problem, however, though the park will be busier as a whole, because we get to the park for opening times anyway. Fortunately, people like to lie in so I don't believe EMH mornings are as busy as late evening ones. If we have hit a park with EMH morning we have still managed to get around the rides quickly but not the same as a non EMH day.

I completely agree, Bev. We went to Epcot for IllumiNations in October last year during an EMH and it was mobbed. I mean really mobbed - four times more people than we're used to seeing, so it just confirms my long-held conviction that EMHs are to be avoided. Luckily, it was one of three times we saw RoE.
