Best Days to Call MS

The fridge magnet that came with the new planner says that the best days to call member services are Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. I was curious if this matched up with people experiences or if MS is trying to spread out the days we're calling in on. Do other people's magnets list the same days? I would have thought that for the most part which days are busy are driven by what is 11 or 7 months away.
 
As our son noted when the magnet arrived....likely those are no longer the best days to call now that they have informed everyone !
 
Our magnet says the same. I had to call in today to redo a reservation and was all set to be on hold forever, since it is Saturday.

At about 11 a.m., I was put right through. :confused3

I called on a Wed or Thurs mid afternoon about a week ago and sat on hold for 1/2 hour. :)
 
Called at 4:15 today and got a very knowledgable CM right away - didn't get to listen to any music at all. Last Saurday when I called I got a not so well informed CM, after a couple of minutes of music, who had both a cold and an accent and I finally gave up trying to make her understand what I wanted to do. I think she was just new and it was easier for me to call back since I had multiple issues. I was afraid that maybe they were putting the newer CMs on the weekend shift but today's experience proved me wrong. Now hopefully I don't have any more calls to make for awhile since I have two trips scheduled but then again September is calling - I just don't know which family members if any want to go then. I always try to avoid Mondays as I think that may be the busiest day. Once they are open all seven days it should spread out evenly except for days like Feb 1 to book Jan31st and others like that.

Well, if DVC was trying to spread out member calls, it stands to reason they would give accurate information on which days are slowest. If Tuesday were actually a busy day, it wouldn't help the situation by telling MORE people to call that day.

Still I would question the timing of providing information like that. Let's look at the days not listed as being slow:

Sunday: Not open
Monday: Busy because they historically have limited hours on Saturday and are closed Sunday
Thursday: Historically the only day of the week in which DVC has late night hours
Saturday: Only open 1pm to 4pm until a few weeks ago.

Looking at that list, every single thing I noted will have change by February 2nd. They will have Sunday hours. There will be no more late night hours on Thursday. And Saturday has already changed to a full 9-5 workday.

Seems kinda silly to make recommendations when member booking patterns are going to completely change over the next few weeks.
 
DON'T call on Monday!! That's when I am calling, and I don't want to wait too long!:happytv:
 
I expect this will change next month when MS opens on Sunday. Once they are a 7 day a week opeation, families that make plans over he weekend can act on them and don't have to wait until Monday.

Well I didn't think they would be giving out busy days to everyone but I did wonder if they were attempting a little social engineering telling different people different days.

I agree with your analysis and also wonder about the timing. For me I call at 11 months out. The day doesn't matter. Going to seven days a week will change which day I'm calling more than suggesting I pick different days.

On a total different topic, not getting the subscription emails makes it hard to keep up with the threads you start.
