Best Days of the week to go

We're heading down Tues 10/7 through Mon 10/13. That Monday is Columbus Day. We're planning 2 days at Universal (both parks) and 4 days WDW.

Our main concern is the Saturday & Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. Which do you think would be more crowded during those days... WDW or Universal? I'm trying to figure out what would be the best thing to do and which two days would be the best to go to Universal.

I would stick with Tuesday or Wednesday of that week since Halloween Horror Nights is in full form Thursdays through Sundays...but you won't feel the crowds until later in the day. We're assuming the Studios will host HHN again this year so that park will close around 5pm to get ready which makes it a short day. You could do IOA on Wednesday and the Studios on Thursday with the early closing.
