Best Day to go to IOA

Sorry if this is posted alot. I cannot find anything with the "search" since it was changed.

Anyway, we will arrive on Thanksgiving day (Nov. 22) and are staying until Dec. 1. We usually do the non Disney park first, but I am afraid it will be way crowded at IOA on that Friday and Saturday and possibly Sunday after Thanksgiving. Anybody been at this time of year who can help me? Was it as crowded as I think it is going to be? We aren't staying at a Universal hotel or I wouldn't care as much.

i avoid all the parks like a plague on holiday time such as thanksgiving.

from what i have read on other threads, thanksgiving day is crowded as well as the day after.

weekends are usually full most of the time. since you are going on a holiday weekend, be prepared for crowds. be at the parking garage by 8 am, be in line at the turnstiles at 8:15 to get ahead of the crowds. eat at off times. while others are doing rides and attractions, you will be having an early lunch.
during the main lunch/dinner hours, you can spend that in smaller lines for the rides then since you are staying off site.

others that post here will have a better out look on it than i have. many have gone during that time period.

i would suggest that you do universal the week after thanksgiving weekend.
lines should not be as long then.

go to disney during the holiday weekend and use their fast pass to expediate your wait in lines for crowds there. if you can reverse your plans, it might be a good thing.
