Best Day to go Sunday/Monday

We will be taking our daughter to Disneyland for Christmas this year on the December 21/22. Since that is a Sunday/Monday and DCA is the early admission park for both days, my question is which park would be best to go to on those days? We will only be doing single park passes. Would it be smart to save Disneyland for Monday in hopes the crowds would be less than on a Sunday, or at that time of the year it really doesn't matter? Should we go to DCA on Sunday to get the extra hour of park time, assuming the hours are similar to the 14/15 of December. Any suggestions? Should we consider park hopper passes or with it being Christmas, would it be better to just do the one park by itself each day? Can you get a good majority of everything in DL done in one day at that time of the year? Thanks

DCA's extra hour in the morning is for on-site guests only.
If you only have two days, I'd go to DCA on Sunday and DL on Monday. Regardless of whether staying on-site or not.

If I was staying on-site and had hopper tickets, I'd take advantage of EE at DCA both days.

Having a hopper ticket would give you flexibility. With an app to wait times, you could monitor crowd levels in both parks. Hopefully giving you an advantage to maximizing your visit.

FWIW, Touring plans has Sunday as a 9 and Monday as a 10 (out of 10) for crowds at the resort that day. What you have in your favor is that all the AP's except premium are blocked so it might not be as bad as it looks. Hard to say.

Our experience was that DCA early entry is very worth doing if you are staying on site. However, you will have a better shot at DL if you get there first thing on a non early entry day and the earlier it opens, the better it is. The early entry days at DL the times I've been there this year have been VERY crowded.

Hope that helps.
